Haven't played in a while, what's the future of Ryzom? - English

Hi guys, I haven't played for almost a year due to school and other obligations, but I recently decided to check in on Ryzom and it seems like the community managers and developers have been rather stagnant in providing updates or communications. What is the status of Ryzom? Will there be no further development?

Communications, yes, that has been lacking.

But updates have been happening, and events as well. The most recent thing is the introduction of the Marauder organization as a playable option. If you check the development forums you can see other stuff in progress.

It has been slow, but things are happening.

The creation of the Marauders is huge but we also are in the early stages of a Kitin Invasion - a fairly major ongoing event by all accounts (I wasn't around for the last one).

We just had an upgrade (patch) to 1.13 and there is a dedicated thread on these Forums (Official News / Future Development Projects) detailing plenty of other events / developments / upgrades in the pipeline - see this thread:
