You can already create character information in your profile, which people can read by right clicking on your toon.
Would be more useful within the forums if it could be accessed from there as well (afaik at the moment it can't), and as people can't comment on it you avoid the inevitable flaming that WILL occur otherwise.
Of course very few people take the time to fill out that information.
