Hi, obviously I can login here in the forum and to app.ryzom.com. I used to have a character I played in ryzom and I see the achievements in the app centre here.

Now I restalled the game via Steam and try to login to the game with the same username and password and all I get is that my account is invalid:

Error: invalid account: (2001)
(in asksalt)

Is there a way to login to or regain my old character?
If that is not the same account but a separate account: is there a way to regain it? I will have been registered on the same e-mail or at least identical domain as this one and I shall have access to all e-mail sent to that domain. Thus if I can start password recovery when I have either, login or e-mail address.

Is your character linked to Steam? Did you try with regular non-steam client from ryzom.com?

No, my existing character is not linked to steam, was created about 6 years ago and I did not (yet) try the non-steam client. Does it make a difference? Is there a time limit after which characters are deleted?
