This issue began a while back and I simply took a hiatus from playing the game until now, so I am now trying to resolve this. This test documented in this post was completed from a brand-new install of Ryzom client. The issue just suddenly appeared after one game session back then and seems to be retained server-side some how.

Here is the issue with picture appended at the bottom:
1. I create a new Action OR edit an existing Action
2. I customize AND save said Action.
3. Upon preview and actual use, Action uses default credits and settings associated with the base skill selected.

Again, this issue seems to be retained on the server-side. I can confirm this via testing the issue from two separate machines running completely fresh installs of the game client.

It works fine for me...
It's not a hyperlink, if that's what you meant (gotta copy and paste).

After some repeated de-quipping, re-quipping and rebuilding actions one credit at a time, I think I might have unglitched it.

My image above was apparently useless because what was occuring was the distance and cast time in the image above were for some reason not casting as said. For instance, where it said 2.8sec cast time, the action might actually take 4 seconds (not due to lag) and the distance would cut down to only 25 meters or so.

Perhaps I just didn't have a good grasp on how malus works, but the funny thing is I've changed pretty much NOTHING and the "problem" seems to be gone. I'm wearing the same armor, jewelry and amps as I was before and even using the same skills and now it seems I don't have the annoying cast times and distance limitations anymore that caused me to take my hiatus from the game.

Fellow players in game seem to want to call it an equipment malus glitch. I don't know if anyone else had the same experience as me, but it's apparently not the first malus glitch to occur, according to other players.
