Cool! As half Matis, half Tyker I will be looking forward to this

(This is great! But please don't start again doing events that only take place in Yrkanis/Forest. In the past almost all events always take place in the Forest/Yrkanis and I find it terribly unfair. The new year has not even started and it already feels like we are back to doing the same things again. Bring the Zorai, Fyros, and Tryker lore to life as well. There should be RP in all the lands.)

Hey! As far as Leanon is concerned, over the past few years almost everything was happening outside of Matia. Until the Bride search we had quite a dry run, with most main events taking place in Fyros and the Lakelands, and not as much, but still more in Zorai than in the forests! - Apart from that - don't forget that in Matia we have to bring the Lore in line, for there we had quite a different evolution on the three servers.

•Friday, 11 January 20:00: (Matis) Nobles Assembly of Na tae (2 weeks to go)
•Tuesday, 15 January 20:00: (Trykers) Taliari Assemb ly of Cristabel (2 weeks to go)
•Saturday, 19 January 20:00: (Fyros) Akenak Assembly of Pyr (3 weeks to go)

It looks very balanced to me.

On Arispotle there were events in all the lands over several years. The Matis bride search and wedding was spread out over a long period of time. In the Desert and in the Jungle at the same time there were events held to find a cure for the sick Emperor of Pyr.

Unfortunately on Arispotle there were a few who didn't attend any of these events but spead a rumour that the event team was biased and Matis and so all events were Matis events. Once some people believe a lie it is hard for them to see the truth.

On Leanon, I - as a Matis Noble! - was so desperate that I even participated in the cleaning of the streets of Pyr! ^^;

I don't often get to take part in events, mainly because they start around 8PM and (by choice) I don't play till 10pm. However, I do follow what's going on and don't agree with you Trixie that the events are all Matis focused. Just take a look at the event announcements for the last year (first 2 pages of the events forum) and you will see only 2 prefixed with [matis]. Think back to some of the events around the time of the swarming - the exodus, as a prime example, started from Pyr not Yrk, went through the desert not forest. There were Kitin events in all 4 nations post swarm. There are the events Xatokar list in all four lands.

The events generally take place where they make sense, or need, to take place. For example, if you need a PvP area outside of PR, isn't the Matis Arena your only choice*? If you want a goo related event then the jungle is obvious. The Exodus needed a stronghold to escape to - the desert has the Kami Oasis. Sometimes the content dictates the location.

* I may be wrong but that's because I'm no expert in Pvp (is Nexus PvP?)

I apologize for my ill-informed comment and I’m glad you guys were able to point things out to me. Not everyone gets to experience all events; we each play differently and at different times. It may well be that I’ve not been around to see all the events happening in Ryzom, could be a time difference issue or lack of information, lack of interest even, and therefore I’ve been around when events have taken place but those have been mostly in the forest or centered around Matis lore.

There was a time when we had an Atys timeline which linked all events from the start to the most recent, and it was very easy to follow and be up to date on what has been happening in world. It would be nice to have this timeline again. Now that we only have one server it should be very easy to update. And I don't know if anyone else noticed but the inworld links to Atys Wiki, which also had links to Atys Lore, and The Chronicles has been removed.

That might be due to the fact that we had three different server histories and therefore different chronicles. For example, on Leanon we only had one Temple to Jena. On at least one server, I believe, Dexton died before the Second Swarm, while he died during the Swarm defending Pyr on another. There was, to my knowledge, a war between Matia and Fyros on both Arispotle and Aniro, but with a different outcome, while on Leanon problems were settled by diplomacy. There were three different Trykoth Gouvernors. Yrkanis fled into exile on Aris, but safely stayed at home on Leanon, etc. While for a long time it was seen as a strength to have three parallel universes, now it became a hindance and a problem for roleplayers, and the GMs have to find a way around them.

Hopefully they're fixing it because I agree with Trixie that it would be helpful to have the timeline so we can see the history of Atys; assuming an integrated one can be worked out!
