I would love to see a command that can show you the latest guildmotd, I know in alot of guilds it's something static but in some guilds it's something funny and alive that can change 10+times a night depening on what's happening in the guildchat.
A command would be great to see what it is showing at the moment now I'm forced to log of and on or when i'm really lazy kick an alt or a bob and let them rejoin to find out what the guildmotd is.

I think another thing they could do is if the guild motd changes then the new guild motd should be shown in guild chat to everyone else.

Is that not the case - if I change to motd does it not show in guild chat the moment I hit enter.

For years I thought this was the case. Hmmm - maybe this is why no one got my jokes and all this time the only one that was laughing was me.

Nope if you change guildmotd it only shows up for you the one that changes it not for the rest of ppl online in guild

Correct, currently when I change the guild motd I also then spam it to guild chat for those already online.

most of the time i also do it that way not that difficult to press 'shift+arrow up' then type a '.' infront so whole guild gets to see it but it's annoying. Problem is that alot off ppl think when they edit guildmotd everyone sees it so they don't do that.

Oh, I aboslutely agree. I like the idea from above of just having it automatically broadcast to the guild when changed. Forgot to put my +1 in for that. :D

edit: Nevermind, I think the intended effect was already implemented.

I would suggest a slight modification: if someone types /guildmotd without any parameters, the last motd should be sent to guild chat. This way no client modification is necessary.

There's a slight risk of people trolling others by spamming the command, maybe mitigated by a line showing who invoked the command.

Guild Motd automatically broadcast to all Members of the Guild, to see the last Guild Motd used the command:

/guildmotd ?

je trouve l'idée interessante à réactualiser.
et si le message d'accueil était faisable via la fenêtre de guilde (G)?
visible par tous mais modifiable uniquement par les officiers supérieurs.
ca éviterait ces histoires de code à taper, ca serait bien plus clair, ludique et accessible par tous.

qu'en pensez vous?
