I think its about time Atys saw another great fun player made tournament
and one we can actually watch and enjoy.
now we have had these for the master lvl people in the past and they were very popular and great fun. but what i propose to organise is a free account only tournament this will imposs a lvl 125 cap on skills and prevent cheating. i have no problem if older players wish to take part using a free account lets see if the new blood can beat the oldies ;)
Rules: not many here lets keep this free and open to ingenuity.
1. 3 homin's per team (free accounts only)
2. Any skills can be used by any of the team members even range (no packers in the arena so u have to carry the ammo u will use in each fight)
So you can have 3 mages or even 3 melee let your creativity run riot here
3. All auras can be used take heed of your cool down timers you may be called to fight again before they are useable again.
4. Any gear that you can make you can use
Event to be held in the matis arena and will be a simple knock out competition with the top three teams winning prizes of supreme gear supplied by myself and hopefully other crafters, please post if you can donate to a prize fund.
would also like to know if it is possible for the winning team to also gain a new title? such as Arena champion or something similar as a memento of the event.
please let me know interest for such a event and yes i will need help to pull this off but i think it will be a great fun day on atys for all involved even those watching the action :)
undoubtedly some won't agree with some part of the rules if that's the case organise your own event :P
my thinking is this will be easy to judge as the last ones standing have to be the winners (jump starts ect judged by myself and two other judges)
what i will need to pull this event off is two other people to join each team to res at end of fight, and some prizes donated by the community.
additional ideas and suggestions welcome, if there is enough interest i will start get a thread started in events section where people can sign up for the event.
regards
