There are new issues that we might want to discuss:
a) Kitins
Perhaps you have heard rumors about unusual Kitin-activities in the Prime Roots (like building new mounds there) or of more goo-infested Kizoars (or even other types of Kitins) in the Kitin-lair? The Dynastic Circle seems a bit worried about these rumors. I ask politely of you to please keep your eyes open to watch out for such Kitin-movements. At the regional Assembly of Nobles of the cities of the Kingdom Taliar Luth went to Avalae to obtain permission of the city-representatives there to let the water road lead through the forests of the Verdant Heights. As soon as representatives of Natae and Davae heard of that they also asked Luth to talk to them just as well about this national matter.
Then at a quick assembly of those who had the time to come, one representative of Avalae told representatives of Natae and Davae that they had thought it would be good enough if Avalae alone had settled this matter, as it needed a quick decision and some of the Trykers are Sap-brothers with some Nobles from Avalae. Which of course filled the proud Nobles of Natae and Davae with a bit of indignation.
I trust in you, honored representatives of Jen-Lai to first talk things over with the representatives of Min-Cho and Hoi-Cho before deciding about national matters like these if for instance Taliar Luth or whoever else should want to try exactly the same trick in the Witherings - to ask only one befriended city to approve of their plans for a national cause.
This is why Hoi-Cho will of course talk things over with the honored representatives of Jen-Lai and Min-Cho before acting on a national level. Like plans of building wells, which are in the meanwhile postponed for the time being anyway.

I heard that some respected inhabitants of your city are used to saying "Kami-disciples" and "Karavan-followers" and that it seems irritating to you that others don't make such a difference. Beause of this I want to ask of you on a personal note to please understand that this is very new for some: even official titles in the dialect Hoi-Cho have formerly been "disciples of Jena" (there even exists a guild of that same name) and "Kami-followers". This has only just changed since the Second Great Swarming and not everyone has even noticed these changes...
You might have also experienced that diplomats from Min-Cho and Hoi-Cho do not often use Taki Zorai or other old languages, and that also a lot of commoners do not understand more than one or two forms of greetings in the old languages. Especially in diplomacy those of us speaking the dialect of Hoi-Cho have always tried to be understood well by all others, even by the spectators at public Assemblies.
So we normally refrained from using words that too many common homins might not know. It has become our custom - and things you have done for years are not easy to change all of a sudden. Some homins are reluctant to adept to new ways of talking, and some are just now starting to become more unwilling to do so because of the way they are being treated. Unfortunately it seems possible that you might hear even less Taki Zorai, Fyrk, Mateis and Tryker being used in the future.
