[official] What schedule for english-spoken events? - English

Dear players,

We are aware that the current time for assemblies (20:00 GMT) is difficult for many of you.
We would like to start a discussion about it, in order to find a way to have the best timeslot for assemblies and official events.
Currently, assemblies take place every 18 days at 20:00 GMT, and major official RP (saga events) event take place saturdays at 20:00 GMT.
We are open to modify the time for those events, if that would help more players to participate.
For the assemblies, we can start them a bit earlier (19:00 GMT) or later (up to 22:00 GMT).
For the saga events, we are open to a wider timeslot, if that would allow more players, coming from Australia or America to join in.

I'm sure many of us appreciate the willingness of the event team to consider shifting times for us players. I would just like to personally thank you for this.

I feel as though for the most part the weekend events are at a relatively good time for most English players (just from my observations).

Most english players, i believe, would support me in saying that we would prefer to move back the time for the weekday events (the up to 22:00 GMT option). This would hopefully allow for more US players to make it home in time to hop on the computer while not pushing back the euro times too late (I hope).

22:00 GMT might be a tad late for most people in CET though... depending on how long an event lasts of course

Personally I don't play till 22:00 during the week. I don't get to take part in many events due to them starting at 20:00 but that's down to my own personal choice of playing later. I'm GMT not CET and I would welcome them being later.

You can't "complete" the mainland. If one thinks one has seen or done everything there, one is kidding oneself. But be prepared to "get out what you put in," because the mainland does not coddle or hold hands.

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

May I suggest changing the assembly cycle a bit?

18 days = 2 weeks + 4 days

X Weeks + 4 days gives a weekday change like this (the 2 weekend dates are shortly after each other)
Mon, Fri, Tue, Sat, Wed, Sun, Thu, ...

X weeks + 2 days would look like this though:
Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun, Tue, Thu, Sat, ...

With this the time between assemblies where more people are able to participate would be evened out as much as possible.
