The automatic outcome would be because in this scheme the Fyros has two means at his disposal (Fire, Electric) that are way above what the Neutral would have. It may make the Fyros' attacks more predictable, but a Neutral could not prevent this with jewel sets. If he did, the Fyros only needs to team up with a Tryker. They would blow away any two Neutrals in their path.

But since we agree on the basic principle - quote "there oughta be a way for a player of any path chosen to reap equivalent rewards ..... not the same rewards but equivalent rewards" - end of quote, maybe our discussion on this particular suggestion is not so important.

Btw, I'd be very strongly against differences in subscription fees, and obviously (as seen by my posts), against imbalances of gameplay. They certainly already exist. Fixing them is a difficult matter, though. It's good we have such discussions. Balancing discussions need to be done in the open, by as many players as possible, because it's hard for anyone to know all tricks and styles of gameplay. I just wish we had more Winchgate personnel, so they'd have the time to join in.

P.S.: I may be an infidel, since I don't pledge allegiance with neither Kami nor Karavan, but so far noone has used that to address me ;-) (No offense taken)

Again, point being.....***in the context here*** PvP is not a significant part of of many neutrals gameplay.....so its kinda like "In real life, who would win a fight between Ironman and Robocop ?" neither exists in real life so the question is moot. I still don't see the Fyros Tryker thing at least to my understanding of jewel resistance as being unlike armor which has max protect values. But as ya said, we're focusing on the example not the concept....please "do the math" for me in a private message.

I brought up the discounted subscription for a reason. Many peeps have publicly stated that neutrals don't deserve this or that because they haven't committed to this or that. In the old days, it was neutrals shouldn't get cats they they haven't invested the time and effort to take and defend an OP. My point was well why can't they have the option to devote themselves to a similarly time intensive and equal difficulty task to get the same reward ? So.... it necessarily follows that if a class of players is going to be denied 20% of the content, then why should they have to pay the same subscription rate ?

Again, I'm not advocating different subscription levels, just using a silly concept to rebut a ridiculous argument. You can think of me as an Atysian Bobby Henderson type :)
