Well said Chongon. I also think this wipe would benefit the game. It would allow for the devs to restart the game as new and hopefully attract new players as well
I would agree with that, if there really was something NEW coming from this restart. If, say, we had to return to barren land without any cities, outposts or temples... allowing us to re-conquer the land, to build stuff back in real time. I would not only play that... I'd love that.
But wiping our characters and keeping the rest of the world as it was (except perhaps some additional kitin) seems somewhat half-assed to me.
