If you would run windows you could do a simple trick like this:
Aside from a regular shortcut you can make another one to the same folder of instalation but with /multi at the end of the command.
like C:\Program Files\Ryzom\client_ryzom_rd.exe /multi
It will run but the 2nd client will always show the crash report window before it starts (since the 1st client didnt end properly because it's currently runing). It works - tested it - on my PC - the Framerate dropped dramatically, but if you have a multi core/thread CPU you can dump clients on diggirent cores - that should help.
Dont know it a trick like that is available on Linux tho.
