Well I think the ryzom forge is verry commited to 'City Flags' > don't ask what they are but been the talk of the town for over a year. I hope those flags really really turn ryzom into something blooming.
About their ffing account page yup broken as heck. I tried paypal last month (when my sub ran out and i canceled the visa) hours later my account still wasn't active while the payment went trough on paypal. So I readded my visa and signed back up normal way. Now over 3weeks later and 2-3 mails to ryzom support I've not even had one mail back from them not even if they would look into my prob or anything.
In end I wouldn't have minded paying double one month but now it's just sad beyond belief they don't even mail back or answer anything.
About bugs being fixed in ryzom well had oldie come back last month for some reason his char was bugged and he couldn't buy an appartement, so he contacted support. They looked into it said yup you seem to be bugged we will look into it. Over a month now and he still hasn't been fixed or given an appartement (think he unsubbed by now because of this whole thing and no help from support)
But is ryzom in good heath was the question I guess:
Ryzom in end is ryzom it's a fun game not overly populated but not a baren wasteland either. You'll always find stuff you need on traders or ppl willing to craft it for you. Teaming migth be a bit hard at times at low lvl's but even then you'll find oldies to heal out of team or grind an alt with you.
Ryzom isn't dieing (atleast I hope not), ppl been telling this for years now (probably since a month after release or something) it caters to a select public that like a hard game where 12years after release ppl are still finding new recepies or ways to play.
Will ryzom die in the next 5years? I hope not either but it depends what they do with it since atm no fun events nothing actually is going on! Why don't they have random kittin of the death att a region once in a while or an exterminator attacking ever few days, weeks and so on. Or even a goo outbreak ....
Just something to keep us entertained, all you need in end is to make something in aarc and then have an event team member login on server push the aarc and execute the script and ppl playing will do the rest.
