Much has changed since Phaedrea's Tears was established 4.5 years ago. Now the guild is primarily focused in aiding the newly arrived refugees on Silan and the Mainland to find a place for themselves on Atys.

Phaedrea's Tears is open to players with various interests. It boasts a friendly and supportive environment. While the guild is Matis based and Karavan aligned for the purpose of TPs, all of the current active members are completely neutral. The guild does not take sides in the Karavan-Kami conflict but members may choose to participate in PvP if they wish.

The guild does not actively invite or cajole players into joining We give unconditional help and assistance to whoever needs it and let them choose to join if they wish.

We are also active on Silan but we have a policy of refusing guild requests until a player has established a character on the mainland. We believe that players should have a chance to see the various guilds, discover what each one has to offer and so make an informed decision.

You'll often see us around and about on SIlan, waiting for an opportunity to supply assistance, advice or equipment. So if you find yourself stuck in some way, needing help to complete a mission or unsure of what skills to buy then look out for Minimei, myself (Joelley) or any other Tear and we'll be more than happy to support you as you begin to find your own way on Atys. :)

Phaedrea's Tears has seen an increase in its membership recently and I would like to formally welcome all of the new Tears to the guild.

We have not moved from our path of helping all of those homins, who require assistance, to find their place in this beautiful and dangerous world we call Atys.

As a guild we remain neutral, although our history is of Matis origin and we will try to assist any homin, from any race, or faction, whether guilded or not.

We respect and remain the friends of most guilds but refrain from becoming involved in guild politics, although our members are allowed to make their own choices.

According to our guild calendar, it is 2000 days since the guild of Phaedrea's Tears was created by Trueheart and four other early settler, however I believe that the Dark Ages were not recorded because the guild came to life some time during Germinally 9, 3rd AC 2522.

It is still a cause for celebration and I want to say thank you to all Tears, both past and present for keeping the guild alive, so that we are able to help those in need.

We also would like to thank all the other guilds, which have assisted us in the past and still do in the present and to all those who come to our aid when needed.

While the guild is Matis based and Karavan aligned for the purpose of TPs, all of the current active members are completely neutral.

While this was correct at the time of writing, we have since renounced all allegiances to civilisations and cults and are now the only active, truly neutral guild other than Altaenae di Cherae.

I decided to repeat this notice in guild as well as a general announcement.

Phaedrea's Tears has decided to complement the Tueday treks offered by Ballistic Mystix. We will be offering treks across Atys, for all and any new mainlanders, on each Saturday, starting at 19:00 GMT. These treks will most likely start from Fairhaven and trek overground, via the Forest and the Desert to Zora. Of course we will also offer the opposite direction for those who are resident in Zora.

The purpose of a trek is to allow new people to collect the neutral Teleport pacts, which will allow them to travel across Atys, without having to run everywhere.

For further information, please contact any of the Higher Officers or myself.
