i tryed to debug but nothing happens, same reinstalling i was able to play last nigh just fine on high settings
Windows 7 64 bit
4 gb ram ddr3
AMD 5650hd radeon
intel core i5 480m

i would really love some answers since i was trying this game for first time and i was loving it

go into Ryzom folder and run the ryzom_configuration_rd.exe and there swap to auto don't choose D3D. than it should be fine.

If that fails re-install your graphics driverswith the latest ones.

I am having the same problem and have tried your fix but it did not work please help
I can't log in.

Try the setting the Game resolution to "Windowed" and the level of details "Normal" from the game login screen.
You could also try the alternate option with the configuration program and set to OpenGL in preference to "Auto" or "Direct3D"
If neither works delete the \ryzom\unpack directory ... this will force the game to reinstall the latest patch.
The latest patch did have some issues with some resident antivirus programs so you might want to "temporarily disable" resident scanning for the duration of the patch.

Hey, It was the same for me came up bad file/ also when patch list came up it was blank ..I rebooted and tried agian and patch came up and went through fine....Hope this helps :) *hugs*
