IDEAS FOR RYZOM

Hi,

Here's an idea for ya, make it possible for a guild to declare open war on another guild.

#2 [en]

not that bad an idea but i wouldn't like a big guild killing of a small guild all the time without them being able to get support from others, would just mean even more guilds stop and join big guilds and that's not good either i think.

Your right as that would not be nice.. I think there needs to be a cost for declaring war and a war running cost on a daily basis. The cost should depend on the ratio of active members over the last 30 days as there are alot of zombie guilds about (150 members but only a couple active) between the guilds.

So if the base fee per day is (pick a number out of the air) 1,000,000. If the declaring guild has twice as many active members the fee doubles and if they have half it halves.

Ok but what would it give extra in game play for ppl playing the game, all i can see happening is one guild that doesn't like somebody in another guild gank them a couple off days until they leave the game, and i'm sure some ppl wouldn't mind dropping 200m drappers to gank somebody for a a week or maybe 2 until they leave the game

If you that much into PvP find a game that is PvP only!

Many of us aren't much into PvP....

And BTW there are GvG zones in this game... go and challange a guild there!

Awww *Hugs*

Amnesia, thank you for insightful input.. it was only an idea!

Again, another idea purely in support of griefing others. However, this one has some promise, if modified.

Instead of a unilateral declaration (which is almost never good), have it be a mutual agreement. People are not outposts.

One guild declares war on other guild. This should be a significant cost, similar to declaring on a q250 Op.

The second guild can choose to accept the declaration. If they do so, a 24 hour wait period will exist, after which a state of war will exist between the two guilds, in all zones, for a week minimum. After the week, either guild can choose to end the war.

The second guild can also reject (or ignore) the declaration. Nothing changes, except the first guild is still out the monetary cost. If the declaration is ignored, the declaration will fade away after 24 hours.

To end the war, either guild can declare an end via button on the Guild Info window. An agreement is not necessary. Another 24 hour wait period where war still exists, and then the war is over.

If it's unilateral declaration, Do Not Want.
Make it consensual, and the idea has merit.

Mmm.. Thats sounds like a very fair solution Erizon!

I like it, that way it will suit guilds who dont like to pvp.

Never argue with an idiot; they will just drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience.

I dont really see use for it, but being a sandbox...who am I to limits someones gameplay. +1

Correct. Had this existed a year ago, right now there'd be only 2 guilds on the server.
