Dust off your wardrobe, mix and match the colors, dig, craft and above all buy, buy, buy! It is time to show all your creativity and beauty in the ultimate fashion contest - Miss Atys! This pageant competition will showcase the female homin’s poise and presentation. The contest will be held on August 13 approximately one hour after the Fairhaven Faire has started.

Rules:

The Miss Atys Contest will consist of 4 categories of competition:
1. Evening Wear: The Evening Wear competition will highlight the elegance, grace and style of each contestant. Evening Wear can be constructed of any LA combination and up to 1 MA piece.
2. Battle Attire: Contestants will show their attention to detail and fashion sense on the battle field. Battle Attire can be constructed of any MA and HA combination with any weapon of choice.
3. Swimsuit: This competition focuses on the physical fitness and attributes of each contestant. Swimsuits can be constructed of any clothing type.
4. Verbal Presentation: The speaking portion of the competition allows each contestant the opportunity to make her statement as to why she should be crowned Miss Atys. This statement shall be no fewer than 50 words and no more than 75.

Judging will consist of both audience voting and by a panel of judges.
Prizes will be awarded for:
Audience choice: 100% Audience
Evening Elegance: 30% audience and 70% Judges Panel
Warrior Princess: 30% female audience members and 70% Judges Panel
Beach Beauty: 30% male audience members and 70% Judges Panel
Miss Atys: 25% Audience and 75% Judges Panel

To make application send an ingame mail to Hechicera with the following information at least 1 day prior to the Fairhaven Faire:
1. Name
2. Short bio about yourself
3. Race

An entrance fee must also be received prior participation:
Early Bird Entrance Fee is 10,000 Dapper received by August 7
Regular Entrance Fee is 25,000 Dapper received by August 10
Late to the Gate Entrance fee is 50,000 Dapper received by August 12

The entrance fee can be given to any Tryker Taliari by the stated deadlines.

*NOTE: All entrance fees will be paid as dapper scholarships to the winning contestants.

just my idea i guess last faire there where around 20-30 ppl my guess i didn't count but when i looked around i saw alot off homins, so the audience vote counting can be really hard to count think and even harder to shift between male and female votes (just something i wanted to add who knows maybe you guys have found a great way to shift trough votes :p, but i did pm's in the miss GoJ election with only 2 contestants and around 8ppl voting and already that gave me chat overload at times)

just wanted to add an idea you can work with numbers/letters/...
and i think audience votes are the way to go really gives ppl a good feeling for participating so i'm not against it

ps. what about the alt things are they forbidden to vote? how do you know an alt is voting or not?

Hopefully our plan will work out.. if not we will adjust for the next contest :)

Well i guess the one that gives the most dappers to the crest family will win :)
