IDEAS FOR RYZOM

Civ fame does very little impact on gameplay. In fact, it's almost useless. Would be nice, if civ fame and alignment grant us access to the new racial services. Like:

1) Few kinds of apartments and guild halls, with increased bulk capacity (and maybe different appearance and decorations) and requirements based on fame and citizenship. With most expensive and roomy ones being up for sale for homins with +100 fame.

2) Ability to gain more racial honor points (or to spend less of them to buy the goods), proportionally to amount of fame.

3) New mounts and packers with improved stats like bulk, HP, speed. Again, in order to buy them you would have met fame and citizenship requirements.

4) Exclusive racial haircuts and tatoos.

5) New clothes or armor to buy from racial merchants, with different looks.

6) Missions and rites available only for homins with certain amount of fame and citizenship.

Civ fame does impact what you receive from the merchants. If I sell something in Fairhaven (tryker fame 20?) , I get significantly less than if I sell the same thing in Dyron (Fyros fame +50).

During the last invasion, people who were citizens received 2x the amount of civilization faction points as people who had the fame but were not citizens of that region.

I believe that there are already rites that require a certain amount of civilization fame - Fyros Durability rite comes to mind.

However, I think that there still should be more, and I like alot of your ideas.

-50 zora => city's att me on sight
-37 & -41 matis & fyros => can't trade with them

I'm aware of vendor discounts and prices based on fame, but afaik it's only 1% of gain for every two points of fame. Therefore you have to hit 100 fame for getting double prices. That can be useful for low level players, but IMO not much of a benefit at higher levels.
During the last invasion, people who were citizens received 2x the amount of civilization faction points
Well, this feature could be improved and made constant instead of being activated only for rare events. Not necessary to make it 2x or 3x, but slightly increased and progressing gain of racial points would be nice. Right now completing a chain of delivery missions yields you amount of points that is not enough to buy a full stack of 250's from racial merchant.
I believe that there are already rites that require a certain amount of civilization fame - Fyros Durability rite comes to mind.
This is good example. Logically thinking, why would racial knowledge keepers reveal their inner secrets to those who can't prove loyality to the race, like positive fame or citizenship?
