Is Alchemist an occupation worth pursuing? Perhaps someone who has advanced skills in Alchemy can comment please?

I think it's one of the best ones yet. It's easy to make useful product, only requires three fairly easy Basic Occupations and offers a lot of good new tactical options. I personally think every guild should have an Alchemist.

3 basic Occu? You only need Florist and Watercarrier AFAIK.
It need 4 components. Flowers you get from OP or Rotoas, Flask of Drab Water from Watercarrier, and Bouquets from Florist Occu.
And Ofc Phials, but Phail making is an activity not an Occupation.

To make Phial first you need to make Campfire. (Abhaya Wood, Visc Sap, Irin Oil)
Than you need to target the Campfire and use Glue Resin 3x, Pha Amber 5x, Buo Fiber 2x to make 1 Phial.

Best to make 2 Potions at a time it still takes 1 phial for making 2 Potions, (1 Phial for 3 as well) but it don't take that much Flowers and other ingredients to make as with 3.
For 1 Potion you need 3 Flowers, for 2 Potions you need 9, and for 3 Potions you need 30.
The Other ingredients are increasing in similar way, except the Phial is constant only 1.

Oh and i made many potions, but i still haven't gotten any exp in it... Any Ideas?

You get XP from upgrading the potions so they are actually useful. in order to upgrade the potions you need either Butcher or Medic kits. Thats' where the third occupation comes in.

Personally i recommend Medic as, although it's tedious, is far far easier at higher grades than Butcher (easiest of the Kitin Lair occupations imho). Butcher takes about three times longer and is best done with a team.

I do suspect that Butcher bits are better for Mage potions while Medic bits are better for Warrior potions however I don't have the time available to check this just yet as I need to gather more Occupation products. If someone can confirm this a post here might benefit everyone. Even if true though, I used Medic Kits to upgrade a Mage potion and got over +15K to metabolism so even in a worst case scenario the potions are awesome if you use good stuff.
