I think there should be at least simple jumping allowing to get over small obsticles. Also, some objects that have things like leaves, or whatever the case may be, that act as solid objects; these need to be fixed.

There is also a bug where the portal doesn't acknowldge your going through it, and you have to pass by it once or twice.

I also miss being able to jump, it adds more depth to a game through emotional expression of happiness. The wonderful thing about Tiggers is that Tiggers are wonderful things .......

well if you want to express your emotions by jumpings and there isn't an emoticon right for you maybe just click one of your fire spells and choose crystalize and hop you are in the air.

and about jumping, it has been asked plenty of times, and no has been the answer everytime.
and do you really wanna see ppl pogo sticking the whole way to a boss?
do you jump the whole time in the real world? or do you normally walk around objects?

i've never missed it and don't think i'll ever do and if it's just to express emotions then be creative

yes i'd like to see ppl pogo sticking all the way to a boss ... I like pogo sticking ;) , and yes I jump lots in the real world . might be because I drink 4 to 5 monster energy drinks per day but oh well. I'm a bouncey person IRL and that is the only thing I am missing from this game, everything else seems perfect.

There are a few cases where a jump ability would be convenient, but overall there isn't much to be gained by jumping. It would be a lot of extra coding to create a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.

and a total redesign of the world to prevent situations where areas that are now deliberately designed to not be reachable from other places without moving through a pack of agro can suddenly be reached by jumping off a cliff somewhere...

Well, object collisions could use some fine-tuning. Many objects have about a meter-wide bubble of non-passable space all around them, and it's for no good reason either. As a result, there is often a hole wide enough for two homins to pass through, but in reality the passage is impossible.

Is there any good reason to block people from passing under the "cosmetic tent", for instance? It's nothing but some stick and a rug, surely not an object that'd prohibit you from passing through.

True about the collision detection, but I'm not sure that's so easily solved (there are many ways it can be implemented, some more easy to tweak than others).

Portal bug: Is not a bug (imho).

You simply have to run through the center of the swirl and it works every time. If you go through the edges, then you haven't actually entered the portal, just scouted it.

yes and no. Some portals do seem more sensitive than others, have a larger capture area (and a few seem to activate only when approaching them dead on, where others activate for a wider angle of approach).
There's iow some inconsistency in the way they react. The ones entering Fount from Resting Waters and Loria from Wind of Muse for example often are problematic.
