I would love to participate in this event and contribute. However my account has been active again for several weeks now, and I have only seen an announcement that someone is available once that whole time; turn-ins were going to be accepted for only 10 (more) minutes. I was already going to do something else.

1) We don't necessarily live in Pyr or have storage space in Pyr, even if we are Fyros, Fyros Citizens, or have Fyros guilds. It is unreasonable to expect players to just carry around bulky equipment for the brief moment that someone might announce a turn-in availability. It is equally unreasonable to expect players to store the equipment or mats for this equipment to craft it on the spot.

2) The schedule for turn-ins has not been posted anywhere that I could see, and as I mentioned, in the weeks that I have been back only one time did I catch an announcement. I log on for several hours each day during the week, and longer on weekends.

As it is, I couldn't give a yubo's butt to try to meet some obscure and unannounced schedule, regardless of how much I'd enjoy participating and watching the story unfold. Nor can I be bothered right now to put forth the effort even if I do happen to stumble across the rare announcement that something is being accepted for 10 minutes.

The notice for the Matis event didn't seem to indicate that there was only a rare chance to turn in the necessary materials. Why is it like this for the Fyros event ?

If the events team wants the story to progress, make the turn-in agent constantly accessible, or at least available on a regular schedule multiple times per day, posting the schedule in this thread. In theory, honourable citizens of Pyr (and generous foreigners) would be flocking to the city constantly to turn in supplies during this time of crisis, lending support to having the turn-in agent always available.

Please adjust this part of the event to allow people to actually participate.

I have to agree. Last time i turned stuff in i had them for over a week and just the day before i placed them on the vendor. I had to retrieve them to be able to turnin. Since the last time that was on the day of the post thatsays how many of what has been given, only once i seen the announcment and at that time i was in PR foraging Moon Resin near some Voraxes and Jugulas. So i decided not to go and hope i'll be in the town next time.

Never argue with an idiot; they will just drag you down to their level, and beat you with experience.

That seems to be what the event team wants, so more power to them. *shrugs*
It looked like it could have been fun to participate, though.

Have you been to Thesos lately? The Fyros already quietly took it back while nobody was looking.

#10 [en]

Does that mean this event is over and i have made soo many tools to turn in for nothing?

#11 [en]

Knowing the Fyro a bit, they were probably never intended for "taking back" Thesos but for continueing the full scale invasion of the Verdant Heights, the first stage of which was the direct the Matis punitary expedition to Thesos.

#12 [en]

Yes, that's it. It was just a punitary expedition so the Matis pulled back after the Fyros had learned their lesson. What would we want Thesos for anyways? Nobody ever goes there. That's my story and I'm sticking with it.

yup. The troops stayed long enough to prevent the fires from being put out, then left.
Should have blown up the bridges over the canyon as well, but maybe that's for another day.
