"I know everything! Everything about everything! But tell me, Patriot, (pfft im not a patiot)) what are you looking for and not knowing what I know you know I know we both know? Oh, no, you do not know what I know about what you know.
((Confusing much?))
"Well let me tell you! Some call me crazy((I'd agree with them)) others call me illuminated, but one thing is for sure! I know that the disease of the sharukos takes Desert Resin, but I'll tell you that ONLY if you pay me in dapper...

"What?! I said the information before asking the price? My mother always told me that I spoke too much..."

Ticaps Ioradix in Dunes of Exile

"Hmm... I do not know of what you speak...

Oh, wait a minute. You say this is affecting the Emporer? Well, there is an old legend that has passed down through my family... generation to generation. it is even older than the Great Swarm itself.

If I remeber correctly... Was it to gather sap??? Oh, but there were other ingredients, and the names escape me... Rhaaaa... Damn, I'm too stupid!

Try checking with other people. Perhaps you will succeed in saving the Emperor."

Checked a Fyrosian dictionary and sharukos just means emperor, so the old man didn't have any more information than that the disease as named (or curse) is related to a job hazard.

They're getting dumber by the minute. Gabus Pinla in Outlaw Canyon:

"Me not understand what you say. Good day."

Not sure if Qai Vi-Pei in GoU is bugged out or just has nothing to say but she wouldn't even talk to me.

*edit* Ticaps Ioradix in Dunes of Exile won't either. not sure if they have been disabled or if it's just me.

Seems they've been disabled.

Maybe they are waiting for the patch to continue with it

After revisiting Qai Vi-Pei in GoU she had this to say:

The disease that has struck Dexton? Yui, I know little of that but there may be others that know more. Let me recite you this poem:

"Because of the miracles
From the Oracles,
When looking for solutions
To answer your questions,
With Gibbads' sages
Lies the memory of all ages,
A known remedy cure,
But nothing is for sure."

Pretty, is it not? I hope this will help you. Continue your way and may the Kamis be at your back and may they brighten you path.

Nothing of interest at the Gibbads' camp. If they have a sage he's out roaming the world somewhere.

How about this Ticaps Ioradix person?

There is a way to make an ointment that can save the Emperor. In the past, some members of my family participated in the preparation of this ointment. Many times have I heard that my ancestors would gather resin from somewhere in the jungle. I don't know where and I unfortunately do not know the other ingredients.

Continue your research, you need to know the names of other components to save the Emperor.

The illness of the Emperor? I've heard ... It is an ailment once quite common. Several of my illustrious ancestors are dead, because, unfortunately, the disease is fatal if not treated in time.

If you want to help save the Emperor, you will have to do everything to allow sufficient time for the cure!

I was looking over a scroll in the archives in Fairhaven and found a tattered parchment that mentioned the antidote. I could only make out the end, "...of Dyros".

I don't know any more about this, I hope there are other homins with information for you.
