In honour of the Fair, I picked a Tryker occupation for this week's occupation background story. Give all the visitors something to read about the rich Tryker history. Good to see this important cultural event is becoming a regular one!

Tryker Taliar’s Faire – all of Atyss welcome

The time has come, yet again, for another Faire – with all the crafts and trading of the usual Faire but, this time, there will be a talent contest – a chance for young and old homins, from all lands on Atyss, to tell a tale, sing a song, write poetry – or even entertain with a dance or jokes...

There will be prizes for the winners (special items donated from the Atyss guilds will be gratefully accepted and stored). Perhaps the most precious will be the gift of a Fluffy Yubo, the cause of the loss of so many dappers for homins drawn to gambling – here is a way to have your very own, without standing for hours losing dappers.

The Faire will be open to all crafters, diggers, and even for the sale of op mats and flowers. There are many homins who would like to buy mats they are unable to dig but can put away for the day when they are a high level and are looking for that extra special armour.

and weapons of all levels. Colourful armour can be paraded at the Faire!

You may purchase a booth; all profits go to the local booth vendor who has a huge family to clothe and feed and is always very polite. I believe the cost was 500,000 dappers at the last Faire, but the increased overheads ... cost of wood ... polishing of booth ...

Fireworks will also be one sale from the usual local vendor, though rumour has it that an obscure new cult are making fireworks cheaply, We warn all comers that these may not be safe and tested as they are by our local supplier, though he does not take responsibility for anyone setting their pants on fire through misuse.

Please send an in-game mail if you wish to take part in the competition to Inifuss, the order of appearance will be random.
