I know this won’t ever happen but if I could move my Alt to my main account and play both toons at the same time I would turn on a yearly sub and never turn it off. Even if I didn’t play.

No. Alts are not good for the game. If you need alts, do that on several accounts and pay for that many.

He's probably talking about the lag which has existed forever.

Server reboots usually help it which tells me the Alts are not responsible for it.

Hey.. I offered this company FREE hosting and better servers for FREE many years ago and they turned me down so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Probably because alts are a convenient solution to your problem. If you need to level up, you can easily use even a f2p alt to heal you, even for the higher level mobs. And if everyone in a ploderos party brings their servant and they all throw heal bombs, the experiece is butter-smooth. You can infer the rest of the points with regards to careplanning, fighting bosses and even outpost fights.

So if you have the convenient solution right next to you, why would you interact with another player who might also benefit from being in a team with you?

But I think we're straying offtopic a little bit.

I'm someone who enjoys playing solo, i sub around once a year for 3~4 months and then sometimes hop in as a f2p.

if i look back to how my playtime was before alts, asking lvling team in chat/guild, walking around aimlessly because solo is tedious and lots of afking, I'd rather not go back to that and thus use alts for my needs. i can use every minute of my playtime for actual gameplay thanks to alts.

- regarding leveling/cping, don't see the problem.
- regarding OP's, i highly agree they have no place there. maybe as a homin-packer.
- regarding bosses, last time i saw ocxyketh richard and simona still played. think i seen about 3-4 200+ bosses in years. (could be camping alts i dunno, but thats a camping problem...)
