Lol.. Have some respect for the OP boi, you are terrible and aggressive.

Not everyone can have more than 30mn to relax a day, if you live at your mother home and don't have a job - don't push it on the OP ;)

Triple lol. I don't know what you are doing in 16 hours every day (8hrs counted for sleep). I have a full time job, a family (3 kids), a dog that has to go out 3 times a day and I am into sports 2-3 times a week. And still I have lots of free time to play, if I decide to do so. Or for any other activity.
Maybe not everyone can play for several hours each day, but I think that was not the point.

I assume you just wanted to be offensive to Balkhog. If you would ask me whom I would call delusional, my decision is made :P

This is something I've struggled with lately: what can one player do for fun, if they only have 15-30 minutes at their disposal? And it's not an idle question, but literally my scenario lately.

Hello Mjollren, sad to hear that your life is so challenging at the moment, that there is nearly no time for relaxing activities.

With a little bit of planning it should be possible to do at least some of the activities you mentioned. For example if you just stay at one place for some days, you can grind some levels without having to gear up and travel every time. And probably there are some other things to do.
When I have very little time, I just drop in, do 1 or 2 fame or dapper missions and that's it.

Anyway, like Balkhog and Revvy have mentioned, Ryzom, like most other comparable games (I know, Ryzom is not comparable to any other game :-) ) is not designed to really make fun with only little time to play.

I don't know where you get 16 from unless you're one of those lucky folks who works from home and only works 8 hours a day. And you're probably young and healthy too, so you you have plenty of energy after work too.

Check your privilege.

Do not assume that you speak for all just because you are the loudest voice; there are many who disagree that simply have no desire to waste words on you.

First of all : if you only play video games for 15-30 minutes a day, it's because you're tired of playing video games, it has nothing to do with Ryzom. Like your real life takes over your virtual life, doesn't it make sense ?
Ryzom is not designed to play only 15 minutes a day, just like most video games.
Obviously there *are* games where I can actually spend little time and still get some fun; it's just that Ryzom fails to be one. ETS2 springs to mind because I actually play it exactly like this: start game, do a (short) haul, quit game. Heck, even a Dota game with bots can go under 30 minutes. Various dungeon crawlers allow the same.

I am acutely aware that Ryzom was designed with the "long haul" in mind, and with immersion. But, pardon my language, not all of us want an hour-long foreplay session just to get started; some prefer quicker action. Even if I had an empty three-hour slot in front of me, I'd still rather game for half an hour, and then go do something IRL; never said I'm a "gamer".

Hence the question here.

I have a friend that plays ESO. In a similar timeframe, she could log in and do daily missions, except those are actually somewhat fun, and the reward is somewhat useful to you. This is not the only example, but one.

If I have 20-30 mins solo time I will often do a delivery run - well worn paths, some agro danger and a pile of dappers at the end.

First good response: true, delivery runs do give a decent mix of danger and reward. Slightly longer than the given range, but I'll allow it; fyros one I've timed at 35 minutes, jungle ones at 40 minutes, and the other two are definitely longer.

Thank you Arfur.

That's what I said, so I was right ... It's nice to at least admit it.
