Migration of the Atys Game server to a new machine

We are in the first phase of the migration of the game server to a new, more efficient machine. As a result, the game will remain unavailable for about 8 hours.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Atys is open and running on its new machine!

We took the opportunity to implement a small fixing patch:
- the underwear came back;
- the Nexus map is the right one;
- the names of some items in the list display are back;
- translations are no longer mixed with English for French clients.

Please note that the API will be available within 12 hours.

No the ping will always be between 200 and 400.
It is not ms related like a network ping, but the treatment client to server (world frames and players pos processes) expressed in tick.

It is capped and unless it is reworked, Ryzom will always have to deal with massive delay (specially in the entities position and movements action).

So the in game feeling won't change.

i can imagine that not every player happens to have the same ping. but with more power comes the possibility to lower the restriction of the ping. we become less and less, the power increases ---> there could probably be something out of it
