I've been trying to get to lv 40 before trying to leave Silan, but I've been told it's best to wait for lv 50 instead.

I was told that lie by some trolls when I started out too.

Leveling much past about 35 on Silan is a slow slog for Fight or Offensive Magic (Ele), hard for Defensive Magic, and just plain masochism for dig/craft.

There are plenty of low-level mobs around each capitol that even a level 1 toon can solo to start out. The main missions alone put you around 25-30 in Fight and Ele. Just remember, when you get to Yrkanis, following the road leading West out of town is full of dogs that will make you want to go North or South of the road if you don't want to get bit.

I'm a long time player actually, was part of the open beta, bought the game at launch, still have the box somewhere.6 I was part of a guild back then located at the Matis mainland, Pegasus Foundation, but that guild is no more. When I left the game I was around lv 40 in combat, magic, harvesting and crafting. I've managed to recuperate my character and I'm in Silan right now leveling my character. I really love the Matis mainland, the seasons, the beautiful trees. So I'm looking for a new guild.
