IDEAS FOR RYZOM

I'm suggesting adding a New Horizons to few places where overseers and guards are already located. Since there is already some structures, it could be seen as natural upgrade to a small town with own names (reply suggestions for names! =D). Perhaps stable too or even just NPC that sells bales and who could buy your wares. Trainers might be too much, like all different merchants would make the places too full of NPC's.

Highest motivation for me to post this is having newer (but not nessessarily low level), unaligned Homins in a team and they dont have that good access to some training or digging spots, like Void, GoC, Scorched Corridor and Trench of Trials (well done Lakeland, Avendale and HH kara TP are very well located!). There are doable ways, but they are taking lots of time and/or are quite dangerous.

It could also add usage of New Horizons so returning occupation products could get a bit easier ;). They could be more pricey than the 3k tho, even for citizens with 100 fame so it wouldnt be too convinient.

Jungle

Maiden Grove - Guards north Sai-Shun Stronghold

It would ease neutrals access to Void (not too much, but a bit). If there's bales to be sold, Magnetic Cartographers would appreciate it I bet.

Forest

Knoll of Dissent - Torbak Trail Hill (this one would be most important IMO)

It would bring GoC closer to neutrals, it's about halfway to GoC from closest neutral (Kami) TP.

Lakes

Bounty Beaches - guards north of Fount vortex

Would bring neutrals a bit closer to Trench of Trials, would ease trekking from and to Jungle too (but mostly just cut the swimming a bit).

Desert

Guards in Flaming Forest, east of Woodburn Magic Pole

It wouldnt ease too much getting down to SC since the ramp is full of cuttlers.

Cant think of better spot (Secret Kami Oasis could do, but then it wouldnt be event city). The towns are very well located in Desert overall.

Ideas, better positions, "totally unnecessary, we want it hard in here", town names, all welcomed in reply's! =D

Jungle:
MG kara and HoP kami are neutral and close to Void. I don't see any problem to get to Void from there.

Lakes:
That is not far from kara TP (neutral) and also kami is neutral in BB. I would rather see NH in upper lakes :P

Desert:
It will not help much to get to SC, no problem getting to this place from OO, problem is aggro on way from Flaming forest to SC.

There are so many of those camps, I wonder if anyone knows all their locations.
From my guess it’s two camps in each 250 region and one in each lvl 200/150/100 region.

I also think their should be „more“ about them, I like the idea of a static merchant, like a hawker, but with useful sales, like bales, piks etc.
Those camps should be mentioned on ballisticmystix.net.

I don’t like the idea of more NH, because it spoils exploration/trek for new players.
(Except, I’m nonetheless in favor of connecting the 4 capitals by meanings of teleportation, it would make teaming for new players a lot easier, and there still is plenty to explore/trek.)

And for the „NH product use up problem“, my suggestion still is double the number of products used up with one port (from 5 to 10). That would ease things a lot, instead of a maximum of 8 ports, one would only need a maximum of 4 ports, to make Nh willing to take products again.
(And „fix“ of the message for full/cool-down, because confusion easily leads to frustration.)

Kitin observation camps of the nations, as targets for the "Touring the camps with a mektoub" mission, are 7 in total per nation:
1 base camp (capital region), 1 camp in 100 region, 1 in 150 region, 2 in two different 200 regions, and finally 2 in the 250 region of all countries.

While I am skeptical about the idea of teleport connections to all these points (might make travelling around bit too easy) I support the idea of a merchant for mektoub fodder (except in the base camp). This makes sense, adds atmosphere, and does not harm balance. Adding a few buildings and naming the places could be a good idea as well.

personnellement...
