BM site is not connected to Ryzom, although they will see this eventually :P

There is a report bug/ comment link at the end of the left menu which could be faster, but you still might need to show/tell where the locations are for them to add them.

I'm putting it in the "our creations" thing because I'm fairly sure Karu is related to bmsite and he/she is very quick about seeing posts and taking care of things

That's my gamble :)

I need to infiltrate Rangers before I can add them.

Hello!

#5 [en]

Thank you for your help
I'm sure many rangers would volunteer screen shots if you'd like

If screenshots of map spots is okay, can ask around!

To be honest, I am not sure whether I appreciate that request.

Rangers' hidden pathways are no teleporters. They should be thought as exit/entry points to hidden paths caused by faults in the bark's magnetism. Therefore, they cannot be entered from remote, are not visible by bystanders, and have no agro protection like altars or Zinuakeen.

Locating both endpoints of a hidden pathway is the prerequisite to use them for transport, and it is a task in the mission series constituting the ranger aspirants' rite. It is part of the education of a new ranger aspirant to use the special item, the magnetized amber, for locating pathway endpoints and opening them once both ends have been identified.

Therefore, I am not sure whether to appreciate (honestly, I would dislike) the publication of such spoilers in a semi-official resource like BMsite's maps. Of course I cannot prevent it if BMsite people see it differently.

Different from real teleporters such as Kara/Kami altars, marauders's Zinuakeen or future trytonist rainbow portals, ranger pathways are hidden by definition, lack agro protection, and are invisible even to rangers and ranger aspirants unless activated, and a feature of no use for anybody except rangers. Therefore, I do not see much need or use publishing them.

No worries, I will use clear.gif as an image.

Hello!

#8 [en]

We live in a world where newer games come in and look up all pros/cons of all races/ factions/classes before choosing to align

TP locations are one of those things that, as stated, are visible to everyone on bmsite besides ranger exits

No offense was meant

Doesn't matter if they are published or not with that kind of attitude

Ah, the secretive Rangers, amassing weapons and knowledge for themselves when the kitins continue to breed. (But seriously, BM is totally OOC)

To clarify that: I did not express anything except my personal opinion as a player (and ranger aspirant roleplayer) about public disclosure of such information. Neither am I entitled nor do I claim to be to speak for the ranger aspirants in general, much less for the Atys Rangers as an organization in creation. Official information and statements can only be made by Cerulean, Tamarea or other speakers of the Event Team.
