Hi there,

Today I installed the game, but when I closed it, my resolution did not switch back to normal.

When the game closed, the desktop only showed in a little (640x480?) box on the top left corner of the screen. It was still functional, but I could not use the mouse outside of the box.

I guess I should have just simply ended a process, but I wasn't sure which one, so I logged out and back in and everything was normal again.

How do I prevent this from happening in the future?

Try windowed mode, or verify that fullscreen resolution game uses matches your desktop resolution.

Try windowed mode, or verify that fullscreen resolution game uses matches your desktop resolution.

I tried. But no matter how I tried, fullscreen is just not working at all. It always resizes the screen to a really small rectangle and I lose control over the rest of the screen.

This is literally everything I saw, this is not a cropped image:

And I made sure that the resolution is supposedly good with my actual resolution in the Configuration Tool.

Anyways, the Windowed Mode appears to be working just fine, so I guess I'll just use that.

Thats strange. It still has window titlebar it seems.

From titlebar it seems to be ubuntu. Which version and is that with unity? What graphics card you using or more precisely is the drivers opensource or binary drivers?

Currently, I run Ubuntu 15.10. My card is an NVidia GeForce 840M (laptop card) and I'm using NVidia binary driver version 352.63.

Edit: here's a screenfetch for more info:

Well, it's technically not an LTS version, so it might work perfectly with 16.04.

The 15.10 support will end in June or something, so I'll upgrade in about a month anyways.

I am always using the last client (actually, when I'm writing these lines: 3.0.0.7653). You need only to download the last client, and the next updating is automatic and fast, and it works for every Linux Ubuntu or not as in my case. So I am very happy :)
