Hello World,

I was curious the other day what kind of music French people listen to and I asked a friend of mine to recommend something.

He told me to do a google search for "Italia Free Party" that is what he was listening to.

Whoa, good stuff!

So I did a search on google for what do French listen to.
- pop

Americans- country, rock & roll, pop, rap

Personally, I like a little classical, jazz, techno pop is fun :), Rock & Roll!

What kind of music do you listen to?

I don't usually listen to music while I'm on Atys - a bit of Vivaldi perhaps, maybe Test Match Special whe the cricket's on.

Lately I've been listening to a lot of Bowie.  The later stuff is unfamiliar but it all goes well with life on Ayts.  It is as if he was born here.

I get bored with music genres fair quick so I'm always listening around youtube for something new (to me at least).

Lately, I've been into this stuff called by various names such as Country Goth, Dark Country, Psycho Billy, Death Billy, Americana, Goth Grass, etc and so on.

Here's samples:

Brown Bird - Bilgewater

One artist which crosses many genres that I found has appealed to a oddly large number of Ryzombies all over the world is Lindsey Stirling ... not surprising given concert attendance worldwide. She also a bit of a geek / PC Gamer and many of her tunes are video game / fantasy movie -TV music (GoT, Skyrim, LoTR, PoTO, Dragon Age). A few samples:

For me, I'm all over the place from classical to 40's swing to 50s rockabilly to 60s psychadelic 70s power rock, 80s new wave / punk to present.

I was introduced to LS while visiting my son's college on "parents day" when she was just starting out. I had anticipated seeing a football game that day and was not thrilled about seeing a violinist but my son bought tickets. How that little "tryker' could hop around the stage and manage to play the violin at the same time was quite impressive. You can see part of that show from that tour at the end of the last video (3:10 mark) above.

Of course if you digging ...every once and a while it's fun to start popping nodes with some "Pop Muzik"
