I was going to spend the last few weeks of my sub saying goodbye properly, but that is no longer possible.  So this it.  Playing Ryzom has helped me through a very bad period in my life.  But now the empty FL is just too sad.  I started playing just after the merge.  However, no one I met in, or the few weeks after I left, Silan still plays.  The way I feel now is that Atys is too full of ghosts.  I hope the game keeps going for many a year yet, and you remember how lucky we have been to play a game where we can't jump.

You can't "complete" the mainland. If one thinks one has seen or done everything there, one is kidding oneself. But be prepared to "get out what you put in," because the mainland does not coddle or hold hands.

Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

Well, the three people I started with on the Matis Island don't play anymore, either. And all members of my first guild, Malignus Germanitas, are gone. Sometimes I wonder what happened to them over the last 10 years or so ...

People come and go Lac its hard to accept that you have to leave us because of this :( 3 years seems like its both a long time and no time at all. The list of empty lights in my FL is longer than i have scrolled down in quite a while and I just hate for yours to be added to it. I really hope you change your mind because the unique style and presence you have brought with you seemed to fit perfectly into the community like it had always been missing. Losing you will be losing a piece of Ryzom that made it better.

I'm a newer player and barely know you at all, but I know *of* you, and your presence has made Ryzom richer for everyone. So thanks for that... Ryzom is nicer because of you whether or not you decide to visit again one day. Take care and best wishes.
