ATTENTION players!

PlaySpan will close its PayByCash payment system on June 12, 2015 and it will no longer be possible to subscribe to Ryzom with PayByCash. Unfortunately, we will be forced to remove this payment option on June 11, 2015. After that, PayByCash users will need to utilize Worldpay to pay by credit card and extend their subscription.

In the meantime we are looking into alternatives to allow players to continue to pay on a nonrecurring basis and/or without use of a credit card.

IMPORTANT NOTE: All Ryzom PayByCash subscriptions remain active until the subscription is over and will NOT terminate on June 12th. If you would like to extend your subscription using PayByCash, this will be possible to do until June 11th. Your subscription will then continue normally. You will not be able to extended using PayByCash after June 11th.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding while we search for a new solution.

Not true!
I would like to extend my subscription.
But I am not allowed to :(

Instead I am told "You can order your next coupon as of June 27 2015." on top of the page", and there's no option on the whole page that will make me extend the subscription - no matter how much I tried; not even canceling my current subscription helps :(

Wenn ihr euer Abonnement mit PayByCash noch verlängern möchtet, so ist dies bis zum 11. Juni machbar. Euer Abonnement wird auch dann noch wie gewohnt weiterlaufen. Nach dem 11. Juni jedoch ist es nicht mehr möglich euer Abonnement mit PayByCash zu verlängern.

Ich würde das Abo ja tatsächlich gern verlängern und habe das schon vor ein paar Tagen versucht, aber erfolglos :(

Ganz oben steht bei mir der Eintrag:
"Sie können Ihr nächstes Kupon bestellen ab dem 27 Juni 2015."

Auch das Abo erstmal zu beenden, um dadurch vielleicht früher verlängern zu können, hat daran leider nichts geändert :(

Ich kann jetzt noch meine persönlichen Informationen und/oder das Paßwort ändern, die Community wechseln, die Dauer meines Abos verändern (ohne aber dabei zur Bezahlung weitergeleitet zu werden...) oder das Abo kündigen (hab ich schon probiert), die PlaySpan Seite aufrufen (wo weder der Button "Payments" noch der Button "Suscriptions" reagiert) oder zu Worldpay wechseln - was ich aber niemals machen werde, da eine Kreditkarte auf keinen Fall in Frage kommt...

Und jetzt? Hat jemand einen Tip für mich?

nun ja eine Verlängerung hab ich noch hinbekommen ,ich mach auch immer mit Paysafecard und Kreditkarte hab ich nicht .
Also werd ich dann wohl aufhören müssen mit dem Spiel :(
Es wird wohl dann nicht nur mir so gehen und Ryzom wird einige zahlende Spieler verlieren glaub ich .
Schade wenn da nicht schnell Ersatz gefunden wird geht ryzom den Bach runter :((

I have the same problem. I havent any creditcard, but I want to pay furtheron via PayPal. Otherwise it would make me really sad to have an 235 lvl toon which cant be played anylonger.

So I really would appreciate it very much if there is a possibility to go on with the "old" payments.

Would there be any problem with simply offering Paypal as alternative?
(They are a bit expensive, but leading, at least in Europe)

btw Is there any way to donate money for Ryzom?

I second the recommendation for PayPal. Their currency conversion fees are very reasonable and they have proven themselves over time.

I pay for Ryzom by credit card on a recurring basis, but PayPal is a good alternate that I use in other places.

ich hab mit PayPal auch im Umfeld schon negative Erfahrungen gemacht, deswegen war ich so erfreut das es die PaySaveKarten bezahl Möglichkeit hier gegeben hat.

es gibt bei uns de Möglichkeit eine prepayed kreditkarte zu erwerben, die ein Jahr gültig ist und mit PaySaveKarten aufgeladen werden können. eine umständliche Möglichkeit für mich jetzt. die auch einige Mehrkosten mit sich bringen wird.

ich finde jedoch das es sich lohnt. für mich der keine Kreditkarte bekommen kann, aufgrund sozialer Begebenheiten, der nun einzige weg für mich.

alle die das selbe Problem diesbezüglich haben, und unter 18 Jahre jedoch sind, werden diesen weg nicht gehen können. weiterhin, bin ich nicht sicher, ob diese Kreditkarte auch anerkannt werden wird. auf anderen Plattformen wurde sie es, und auch bei einem Autovermieter. da es sich um eine Prepayed Kreditkarte handelt die so gesehen eine MasterCard darstellt.

Schade noch das es die alte Bank-Überweisung nicht mehr gibt. dieser weg war für mich immer der angenehmste ^^

I already had bad experience with Paypal myself, but others are worse. My overall experience with them is around 98% positive and I use PP often, for more then 10 years now (seller and buyer).

Ich habe mit Paypal auch schon schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht, aber andere Anbieter sind schlimmer. Insgesamt sind meine Erfahrungen mit PP ungefähr 98% positiv. Ich benutze es häufig, seid über 10 Jahren (kaufen und verkaufen).

Offering Paysafecard payment would be very good as well, it's very popular in Europe and very easy to use. And btw competition (Eso) accepts both, PP and Paysafecard ;).

Paysavecard was under PlaySpan - PayByCash. this will end now. :( i have this any time use.

Das denke ich wäre eine sehr willkommene und überaus nützliche weise für Europa.
Ein Punkt an den gearbeitet werden sollte, diese möglichkeit wieder aufzunehmen.
wie genau es dann ablaufen wird für Betreiber von Ryzom & PaySave muss denke ich dann dessen Finanz-Abteilung (oder dergleichen) abklären und schauen ob es finanziell oder systematisch möglich ist.
ich kenne leider nicht die Bedingungen die PaySave voraussetzt ^^
ich kann mir aber denken, das dann ein kleiner Mehrbetrag, wie bei PaySpam auch, von PaySave für diesen Service dann auf dem Endverbraucher (User / Spieler) angerechnet würde.
der aber, denke ich nicht überaus Groß anteilig ausfallen würde.

Registration and have the account verified should not be that complicated.
But afterwards you have to integrate their code (api) in your own scripts, this can be very complicated and time consuming, even if nothing goes wrong in the process.

Whether directly or indirectly, PayPal needs to be an option.
