Windermeer is German. From Binarabi's comment I'd deduce Avendale is English. Therefore Crystabel is French. ;)

Avendale is french ; for the barman, Ba'Naer Liffan is the one from FH (don't trust the other one, it's a bad bar), Ba'Dardan Naroy for Avendale, Ba'Naer something for Crystabel, don''t know windermeer. In the desert, Pecus Cegrips for Thesos and Lydix Deps for Pyr. Other "bar" aren't worth mentioning anyway, they are bad ;)

Old problem, but really "hard" it went only since merge i think..

my opinion:

rp is open for everything ...and it must be open for everything what the gameplay allows.
But still, never forget: RP != second life. Becouse it is still a game with some kind of gameplay... you don't sleep, wake up, going to work or smth etc ...you log-in, going grind or mass-harvest/mass-craft.. that's the difference

IF we would have thousends or millions of players ...it would be possible to "filter"... but in the position of ryzom ...it's a harm to the game if you force to filter friends / level-partners.

Some of the worst behaviour in this game comes from rpers - such as dragging aggro (still happens after "fix") and stealing bosses and lack of heals for a passing homin who might be dead or dying, not to mention the trolling/flaming - come from players who excuse all of this by saying it is role play

If you make a note of the names of the players I hope you will not count more than about 10ish - but we are such a small game it is hard not to think all rpers are like this

+1 Bina. I have of course met some good RPers- but the worst behaviour always comes from people who hide behind the pretence of roleplay so they can try to justify being assholes.

+1 bina on that aswell reason I don't go to rp events anymore and that they can all f-off to me.

Yes crick I will talk to you in char when i have time at the FH stables where I spend my days now (I'm not the best in it)

But pure RP events and pure RP players have droven so many ppl away from game I'm happy to see less RP events these days actually means maybe some off those a**holes will leave the game and we can go back to a friendly community with some PVP and some wars,but inbetween friendly teaming and rezzing and so on. 

*btw those that where rallying some months ago to get me kicked out of my guild for instance are well respected and know RP-ers (I feel sad for em myself if something like that can bother them so much)

I want names. Like, seriously, who steals boss / drag aggro on people ? All the complaint i've heard were about people who aren't RP (or doesn't use the RP excuse to drag aggro on people), so i'm genuinely interested about that :)

And about not healing ... You might find it "childish", but homins aren't exactly the nicest specie in the world. why would i (as a character) rez someone i don't know, who would have (maybe, i don't know him) let me rot in the sawdust, or even worse ? And what would i do that for someone who i know would let me rot (like, for example, a matis vassal) ? Remember Icus isn't a "nice guy" (just a regular fyros, othing more), what would be a good (RP) reason to do it ?

You must respect their choice to not res you, as much as they have to respect your choice to res others.

If players are sending tells harrasing you for such that is a failure on their part, but you can't expect someone to res you and be upset if they dont - well you can be upset, but you shouldnt blame them.

You have answered your own question. The fact there exists an 'RP excuse to aggro drag' says it all. There is actually no excuse to aggro drag unless during PVP as its against the coc. The fact RPers have made one up.. well.. I refer back to my post of attempting to use RP to cover up being an ass. (I say this assuming your RP reason isnt pvp).

On the subject of rezzing people for me, I know you don't have to, but tis just another example of roleplayers being asses. A good RP reason how about... for kamis at least 'Recruit Homins to their cause'. That took me 2 seconds to find in the lore.

Hmm don't think I am wrong here. It's not the choise of to rez or not to rez, it's the choise of being an asshole or not being one and explaining it by saing it's RP and actually going further and saying it's good for RP.

I hope this discussion can be towed back on track and not descend into the pit outside Pyr where mudslinging is prevailing. Mind the language and be courteous please!
