Q50 node damage tests - English - Ryzom Community Forum

ok so there was a discussion the other day on uni about the amount of damage a node could do when exploding or gassing in silan and Q50 zones. that prompted me to do a little testing.

i used a Q250 pick fresh from the merchant, max harmful speed and rate, harmful Q50. i used the natural amber sources around the zora stables as my testing ground for the Q50 zone. there was NO care planning of any type during the process.

the results below were recorded for the life of the pick. to sum it up, the most damage from an explosion was 560, the highest damage (per hit) from gas was 112. the average dmg from an explosion was 391 and the average dmg from gas was 78.

now for those of you that love raw data, the below is the explosions and gassings that i encountered in order from the first to the last, exactly as i recorded them, be warned it's a very long list. (becasue the list is very long if you want just scroll to the bottom to read the last of the post.

and that was when my pick finally wore out. as you can see this took some time and effort to collect this data. i would guess that based on the numbers the max dmg you can receive from an explosion would be at most 600 (which is 40 more then the largest dmg from explosion) and as for gas the highest encountered number per hit was 112.
