The Outsiders have brilliantly shown in the past few days that you can ignore the defending players (to some extent) and focus on killing the npcs with great results; if you have good jewels and the opponents can't manage to stun/root you, a bomb enchant will wreak havoc in the npc "guards".

i've been wondering why more people haven't done that before.. on either side. maybe they have i just haven't noticed.

as for aggro dragging, my issue with it is that it is simply really bloody annoying. i can understand the losing side thinking 'right, sod it! we need some help. let's go call on those kinchers over there' - but that then just makes it open season for the other side who will, in turn, call on the help of some slightly miffed kinchers. it's just annoying :P

And on topic ... no real possibility from outside to make it more balanced, i think ... so i guess, keep it as it is and hope that all those comfortable kamis see, that change could be a lot of fun also.
which seems a viable option though unlikely for most. pokemon are popular... gotta catch 'em all!

“What to do if you find yourself stuck in a crack in the ground underneath a giant boulder you can't move, with no hope of rescue. Consider how lucky you are that life has been good to you so far. Alternatively, if life hasn't been good to you so far, which given your current circumstances seems more likely, consider how lucky you are that it won't be troubling you much longer.”

This is slightly a different idea, Maybe make those guilds that own OP's pay a tax wherever they own an OP to the local government. perhaps make them pay more for owning an OP in the opposite factions lands that the guild is aligned with. This can work as a natural control for them 'taking' many OP's for themselves. Or we can include maintenance costs for the OP also? Drills should break now and then!

OP tax, limiting members- it has all been proposed before and many many reasons why they are bad ideas have been said in reply.

The OP imbalance always boils down to 3 things: Tactics, Skills and Numbers. The only real fix to numbers is for players to move from the bigger to smaller factions, which many understandably don't want to do. The other 2 require effort, which some people don't want to do.

OPs are a PVP mechanism. If people want balance move faction or put in effort to strengthen the weaker faction. The latter has been happening a fair amount under the scenes and a result has already come from this. Hopefully more is to come.
