I wouldn't say that Arc took it down because he was "scared". The word "prudent'"comes to mind. Before anyone redistributes the file, they should be make themselves aware of potential consequences.

looks like the nixed the links, contact me if you want a copy. i didn't mean to suggest that arc was scared, for him it was prudent, but for me i'll share it with anyone that wants a copy of 1.1a (saddly the last version) because someone got uptight that there name wasn't mentioned because their (if i understand this correctly) name wasn't credited becaused their code was used in the DEVELOPMENT of the program, not the actual program it's self. ugh, ok i'm done.

Markanjio's avatar is hosted on the following box: https://rodolphe.breard.tf/. Unless he's merely friends with the owner, I believe you can use the contacts on the front page to send your thanks for the taking down of KipeeCraft.

Meanwhile, did anyone save the source code shared by Arcueid? I would like a copy please :)

The sourcecode was just for the CDS Edit, the tool for managing the database. KipeeCrafts Source is not open for the public. If you want the formulas, have a look at the game source code. It's all there.

Other then that I cannot and will not comment on anything regarding the takedown.

Could someone point to the formulas? Not trying to be lazy, just never managed to find the bit where this is detailed.

(Digging in the code once again :)

Arcueid's program is/was great, and will be hard to replace.

Do a search for 'stretchItemStats'

Do a search for 'stretchItemStats'
For example here:

hm, that link doesn't work for me Arc :/

Try first loading the project page:

https://bitbucket.org/ryzom/ryzomcore/src/

then follow the rest of the path:

/code/ryzom/common/src/game_share/rm_family.cpp

Seems like bitbucket adds some sort of session information (?) in the middle, which may break when passing on the link.

It's commit hash. There is at least two spaces on that url when you copy it (added by forum)

Hi Homins,

i'd like to present you a small (standalone) addon for KC to merge the mats of multiple recipes.
i use it to calculate the mats of jewel sets found using jeweler.

HowTo:
Load 1 or more recipes (.kc files) by clicking the folder icon
Pull the trackbar to calculate the mats for multiple items

(the "to Clipboard" button allows a textbased export to the clipboard: example here)

Download from Dropbox

PS if you want to check the source, use ILSpy to decompile (its written in C#)

I'm very happy and honored to see a community project appearing here! This is a very useful addition similar to the "go shopping" option in the ingame Craft: Recipe-Book App!

If you have any questions regarding file formats or KC in general, feel free to discuss it here or drop me an ingame mail. KC recipes are normal text files saved as .ini files. Today one would probably use xml, but back then I thought ini was a clever idea and stuck with it.
