Any way I could download that file to play with it? I might be able to significantly decrease its size whilst retaining its quality.

i was just thinking about that, and yes, a google drive would allow a person to upload the file, and then share the file with another person, all that takes is a gmail account, which most everyone has, and it's free too (google drive is limited to i think 10gb's) {there are also programs that will split large avi files into smaller chunks based on the size you tell it, it would still be a 4gb file, but could be cut into 8 chuncks of 500mb}
