harsh words? have i been rude? certainly not:

1- i don't take any threats from a homin who does not belong to any reputable council, such as salazar, ... i respond to the theocracy, and even that is something I'd debate this days

2- If anyone feels that they need to excert justice in me on my friends then do so, but don't conceal your intentions and just be plain an clear.

3- i Might not be respected amongst you, but yet i have the respect of many, and if the theocracy decides I'm no longer a respected member, well i do remind you all that i put my awakened status on Mabreka- cho's disposal a long time ago, as my views and those of the theocracy are no longer compatible

4- i commend your endeavours with the fyros, though next time someone asks about some of them, its better you respond (OOC:yes we did look for the dynamishe guard info on forums, and nothing came up)

Astarth
Free Homin of Min-Cho

5- I'm in deed sad about your innuendos, Zhoi, but yet i fear your lack of foresight is clouding your judgement, yes, we do seem eye to eye with homins of all paths of atys life, some as friends, some other in hopes to make friends with. we do not share old prejudices, and only condemn people for their personal actions, as real justice works, as instead of damning them just because they feel or believe drifferently.

6- The free trade zone is a decision of the Free People of Min-Cho, and we will keep pushing for it

7- I'm surprised to see that an awakened is letting a non zoraï dictate what the theocracy should or should not do about his nationals, i might even wonder if our theocracy is not being manipulated by this seemingly good homin(s)

As a former subject of the Empire, I must say some people here display a very .. interesting level of mistrust for their own fellow countrymen, not to mention a rather unhealthy level of carelessness for public matters concerning their nation.

Dilligently inquiring what those guards' affairs were is maybe a good thing to do - considering their existence was decided in the Min-Cho dialect and you're a busy guild who can't be expected to read or keep informed; it's typical in politics.

Moreover so, considering the guards' tags were wrong. But to outright state they could be "Matis in disguise" and this mere hunch warrants attacking them ... that's something indicating paranoia and / or hidden nefarious intentions.

As a Fyros, I'll just say this: please do not interfere again in the business between two nations who have long had a lucrative friendship. The desert needs its water just as much as the jungle needs the fyros on its side. Should words fail to impress you, there are always other means to drill it in your skull.

((ooc: Sorry, but you dun goofed by admitting in the rp forum that you killed zorai guards as an awakened, your excuses are kind of weak... But do keep digging your hole, it's a nice change of pace from the otherwise boring Atys political life.))

Astarth, you are making matters worse.

Indeed your words are harsh and rude - again.
It makes me very worried that you do not even realize that!
Maybe your Marauder-friends have completely changed your understanding of how politeness works?

There was no reason whatsoever to suspect "threats" coming from Patriot Jarnys and Filira Caradini.
What kind of (negative) "intentions" do you suspect to be "concealed"? What kind of paranoia is this?

Astarth, if you had not neglected your political duties at the times you had still considered yourself an Awakened, then you would be aware that both the Fyros (maybe except for some self-righteous former Akenos from Thesos) and also the Matis nobles are valuable allies of the Theocracy who have helped us Zoraï a great deal at numerous occasions.

Filira Caradini has in fact stepped down from his political position, but he is still an active member of the Kitin-observation-group from the Verdant Heights, and as a intermediary for this group he has been addressed in a very friendly way by our Sages at the last - publicly - assembly of Zora.

Talking down to those who our leaders consider allies, attacking them either verbally or even physically like you did with our peaceful guards; afterwards even insisting on these hostile actions being just and right - that is not the way of the Zoraï. On the other hands it's said that Marauders do act in such a selfish, ruthless way.

Declaring that nowadays you'd debate responding to the Theocracy, also calling yourself a "free homin" and your guild "free people", even saying that your "views and those of the theocracy are no longer compatible" - doesn't all of this mean that you really are to become a Marauder - or maybe already have?

Your insults are absurd. Nobody "dictates" or "manipulates" my decisions, nor the decisions of the Theocracy. It is only you who lack foresight by murdering guards of your own country, by falsely suspecting valuable allies of our nation, and by insulting an Awakened.

By turning against me you have squandered my consent for your project of the free trade zone. Changing Min-Cho into a city ruled by Marauders or at least in the way of the Marauders is something I will never support. Instead you can be assured that I will inform the Circles of what you have said at the upcoming assembly.

(OOC: I agree with Mjollren. Bragging about killing guards of your own county in RP has to be answered consequentially in RP. As an Awakened my character cannot just tolerate this. Well, at least this way we can play some RP again ever since the Guardians sadly have stopped being interested in politics and in initiating public events together in team-play.)

OOC: i did not neglected my duties, i was unsubbed and not playing at the time.

IC: again the accusations... have i turned marauder? no: have i went against the theocracy? no, has my shizu done any of the afore mentioned? NO

Again i feel your lack of foresight is clouding your, otherwise good judgement, perhaps i have learnt more about the marauders than you with your wild hunts for marauders (and i have certainly killed more of them than you ever did)

as for being a free homin, that's not a title or anything i should brag about, you are putting the importance on the matter

Paranoid? perhaps a strange contraption falling from the skies wasn't enough to call for any worries, perhaps having the kitins invade our lands wasnt enough to unite us as homins and forget our petty differences.

And don't worry about informing the council, as i shall do that myself to avoid any unfounded accusations

Mjollren, i am sorry about putting those affairs at risk, it was mistake...

have i turned marauder? no: have i went against the theocracy? no, has my shizu done any of the afore mentioned? NO

A few interesting questions which I believe require a little more thinking than just a simple "no, no, NO".

The last time I saw a large marauder presence within a Zorai city, they broke out a young marauder on trial for his crimes. The Zorai government were unprepared and a small handful of marauders managed to free their friend against the odds. You should be extremely thankful homins of other nations were there to witness the trial otherwise imagine the damage the marauders could have done.

The simple and astonishing fact that you want to allow marauders to roam your cities freely is a cause for serious concern. This could put countless citizens at risk. I have already made my views on the subject known and yet no reply has been offered. This proposition of your guild, stemming from your Shizu, could bring about the burning of your cities to the ground (Guy Fawkes style). It is therefore actually quite easy to wonder if your guild has any other ulterior motives at hand.

For such a reckless proposal, a proposal benefiting marauders and putting a Zorai city at risk, added with your quite obvious disgust towards the current theocracy, one could wonder if you had in fact had a change of heart.

so, i'm guessing that you're against the rumours of asylum becoming a marauder guild then?

personally, i would love to have GoS become marauder but i'm not about to try and change someone's choice of faith, no matter how dumb it may be.
i like the mara, they're a pleasant extreme in a world of mundane sheep.

burn all the cities! assassinate jena (when she finally gets her lazy arse down here). as for ma's duck, well... erm.... how do you kill a non-entity?

(obligatory ooc)
i've totally missed the point haven't i?

Asylum has been following the teachings of the Kami zealously and recently has been making a push to show lost homins the truth of the teachings. There is a war coming and we must be ready.

see, virg? now you're getting my point... besides some intelligence strategies aren't to be discussed in open forums, i do know some Shizus of the witherings had "friends" working with the masters of goo and other enemy tribes of the theocracy for the purpose of gathering intel, yet you don't hear me saying they're their spies or that they turned towards the cult and use of goo, and forsake the theocracy

#27 [en]

Of course we should always strive to bring homins to the truth, however I believe letting marauders walk the streets freely would only create wars and ransacking, further hindering our preparation for what lies ahead.

Since we're a marauder guild in your oppinion, my respected Zhoi... why don't you fullfil your duty and declare on the outpost we have? if we're such a threat to the Theocracy and its status quo, then why won't you challenge me?

or speaking about duties imposed by laws... why no guild but the guardians of shadows and the monks of atys have taken care of the marauder hangouts in The Void?... yes its our blood, the Min-Cho blood running to protect you while you lie to Mabreka about the safety of Grove of Umbra and The Void...

Don't you ever dare talk to me about compromise, respect or neglect if you haven't fought with your blood on the field

and for those of you who like titles...

So you really are trigger-happy... Well, no surprise. As a Zorai loyal to my people and the values of our nation I respect wise homins the most, but not necessarily the strong and definitely not the bloodthirsty ones. Even the loyal Fyros put discipline before bellicosity.

Marauders are the only ones who believe in the survival of the fittest and will only bow to the stronger ones. Marauders highly value conquest and combat. Zorai do not though.

Even if this is another strong evidence that you have indeed become a Marauder at heart, this will still not justify attacking you nor your outpost/s.

The treaty of four nations and also the TENANT-treaty clearly state that the nations must not politically interfere with outposts-battles amongst guilds, unless in case of an exceptional threat for the nation's security or stability. http://app.ryzom.com/app_forum/index.php?page=topic/view/16969

Do you consider yourself or your guild to be a major threat to the Theocracy, bigger than any other in history?

You don't have to be concerned: nobody lies to our Grand Sage. He is well informed about the Marauders and Goo-tribes, no worries. You are definitely not the only guilds fighting Marauders. At least one well-known large group of homins gathered from all nations regularly takes on Pei Ruz and other Marauders all over Atys. It seems that this has at least kept the Marauders busy enough not to increase their threats and territories, even though they are being resurrected by the higher powers just like any other homins are.

Another good reason for us to keep up the good political relations of the Theocracy with all other nations.

Oh, and falsely claiming a while ago that you have not gone against the Theocracy - after attacking our peaceful guards without apologizing for doing so - is not a very clever lie, you know?

As a side-note I really don't understand why some homins are getting hysterical about this junk-thing that the Karavan have dropped and later on properly cleared away. Nobody was hurt by it, a lot of homins, also several of them having been officially sent by the four nations, have investigated the site, and not even the Kamis have warned us about any dangers or threats originating from these events and the junk. The tidying up has ended already too, so why make a fuss about it?

Oh and also Zhoi, I would have expected you to be happy with a Zorai who goes slightly against the grain. A nation full of clones will all have the same weakness. A nation full of people willing to think for themselves and follow their own hearts is a strong one.
