IDEAS FOR RYZOM

#1 [en]

This was talked about in the early days of Ryzom and I don't know if it's been mentioned again since as I just returned to game.

The ability to sell armour and jewels in sets. This would reduce vendor clutter, Stop people just buying a few bits of a full set someone has put in the vendor leaving bits no one wants.

When clicking a vendor you could get "Sell Set" under Trade. You put the required number of items in a trade window like you do with quests. Price can be under it. With a button to complete the trade. They could be listed under a separate vendor tab called "Sets".

It shows up from time to another... but has not been implemented yet (I'm in favor of it though)

A good idea that has been mentioned before - which only confirms that it is a good idea.

It would mean you would have to be able to combine sets of armour / jewellery in a stack (or other way of combining several pieces), either:
1) manually, when they are made or when you have all the bits in one place (and would you be able to mix + match from different civs, HA/MA/LA etc.)
or
2) automatically when a full set is in one place (maybe with a confirmation dialog box)

If this could be got to work, you would then have players wanting to equip / unequip armour and jewellery in sets, which has also been discussed and rejected (admittedly not a reason to not implement the OP's original idea).

It's bad luck to be superstitious . . .

Palta e decata, nan nec ilne matala.

When one goes on a journey it is not the scenery that changes, but the traveller
