Someone please confirm or deny : previous time when patrols were introduced, there was little or no aggro in PR ?

I just spent 30 fruitless minutes in Underspring in a team of 5, 4 in hp gear. I get it, it's supposed to be tough here. In a game with an active player base of .. what, 200 players? I'm supposed to find 10 other players willing to spend hours tracking for supremes while fighting wave after wave of patrols ON TOP of other aggro?

Go stick KPs somewhere warm, devs. This is beyond reasonable or playable.

KP are great. They are best thing that has happened to PR since I first went there. KP = more sups.

In case you are serious, you should stay out of my PR! You are male and, therefore, too fragile to dig PR. However, if you do want sups DO NOT fight KP and aggro! That is just plain dumb, i.e. male. Do not go as a team! That just gives the aggro something to eat! Never move round PR in anything but focus gear or the noody. Be a Ninja Digger not a digger. Do not fight PR, be one with PR. You get sups by being unseen and quick. It can be good idea to take a male along as bait, I can loan Subox for this job at the reasonable price of 1 dapper per hour.

[OOC I apologise for my toon she has sniffed too much yelk gas and is a complete loony. But I would suggest that you are approaching PR wrong. Getting sups now is easier than it was before. No I am not trolling in saying this. Your problem seems to be with aggro spots. And if you want to dig that spot, you need to know that spot. That is what my offensive, loony toon is trying to tell you. Honestly, PR is empty of aggro atm! Sure there are KP but there is not much else. Sadly resets have been very kind to us.]

Go dig the supreme beng from Hidden depths. Then you can complain :)

We did this a few weeks ago, certainly not doable solo. Took 5 of us 1hr of constant combat with 1 digger before the stuff even popped.

Tbh they should move the zun to spots like that.

As for kp, you just need to work on strategy and teamwork a bit more if youre going to approach it with a group.

for an idea, enchant heals mainly and dodge/peirce gear on 2 healers. 2 melee in full tank setup cirlcle attacking. The digger does not engage in any combat and shouldnt even unequip their pick. Shielding stacks too. People dont use it enough, especially melee

Hate to think what is going through Lacuna's mind when she sees homins complaining after 30mins/1hour waiting - and with teams!.

Lac is right in the Zen way to digging in PR, KP are really loads better this time, used to have a range of 125m! (IIRC), and Lac is now the resident Professor of Prime Roots Studies, as what she does not know about PR can be written on back of a match box, pretty much always solo and often maxed dp - she ranges the depths and has patience that cannot be faulted*, not only has she learned to cope with aggro and now KP, she has also taken in her stride nasty dragging homins who hope to kill her so they can get the sups and headless chickens who do not understand PR and run about in HA killing the aggro mobs that she has learned to live with

I believe her lectures on the ways of prime roots are full to capacity audiences making much needed notes as fast as they can to pass the 104 module on their path to becoming true Masters of Prime Roots Dig

*this is of benefit to half+ of the homins on Atyss, as she is firmly of the opinion that all Matis (except Jaydinth) and male homins (except a very choosen few) should be killed on sight, Atyss is a safer place with KP in PR

Though, if there wasn't any complaints making their way to the forums i'd have said the KP weren't doing their jobs!

Mj I think your issue is you tried to dig after a reboot or season change. Right after season change mobs "move" locations. As such every region gets extremely messy in terms of aggro. You need to wait till they settle into their new spawn locations and then try to dig.

Still waiting for an answer regarding aggro in PR when KPs were first introduced...

And yes Xtarsia, having two patrols, 4 kinchers and two kipuckas on your team while you wait for hash in US makes one kind of irritable :D

Aggro is the same as always MJ. The point I was trying to make is you probably digged after a reboot or season change when aggro is everywhere and lacks defined spawns.

LOL, this post really gave me a good smile. Very well written, expecially the RP part. Really I would not add the OOC part at all, but i understand that some people could not get the roleplaying.

Lmao only a nub would complain about KP's in PR, since they are so easy to avoid.

advice, target macro's. (seams logical, though i'm out of game since before they were brought back, so what do i really know)
