I just see a lot of sand in HS and I was told (although I never touch picks so can't confirm) you can dig Fyros mats in HS.

Nope the mats you dig in Hidden Source are Matis.

Not that I want to mess up Bitty's thread with irrelevant crap but you can dig fyros mats from HS, tried it myself.. and the fun part is.. we have nodes right in Marauder camp... I can basically get to level 200 in Desert just by digging in the camp.

Well going off what Gkr said, if you can dig fyros mats that would give an assumption that it is fyros lands. If you can dig matis also well that means its a bit of both!
