this is to inform EVERYONE in game of how the pei-ruz teams work with talkirc and his network.

first off, we use the chanchey system, all parts are turned in to him, as well as scored, on a regular basis.

with the chanchey system you must be a part of a winning team 45 times to get a full set. (though you do not need to wait to get a full set, you can get a single part if you already have 9 kills, you may contact chanchey to get that part, if it's in stock)

there is no limit to faction or civ alignment, this is not done as a part of roleplay, you can be kami, karavan, marauder, or neutral/neutral. (we sometimes can add a player with strict roleplay if the team permits, but that will not always be the case, if you follow strict roleplay, when invited please let us know if this applies to you at that time and we'll check the current team members to see if this can be done with the current team, active members will not be kicked to allow for strict roleplay, but you will be contacted if the team becomes roleplay friendly to your style of roleplay)

below are the few requirements for applying for the team.

you need at least one master in magic and one master in melee.

you need at least 235 in 2h slashing (axe prefered, but soward is fine) (with another melee mastered)

you need at least 230 in heal (with a master in offensive elem)
OR
you need at least 230 in offensive elem (with a master in heal)

you need to have warcry, beserker, mpa, and bomb 7 (bomb 7 hits 8 targets)

if you meet this requirements, you can send me an in-game tell to find out about teams, other lead players that you can speak to will be added at a later time.

anyone that is a part of the talkirc network will turn the armor part over to me (talkirc), with a list of members that earned that point, i send out in game mails with updates to the current active score sheet. apon each turn in i start a new score sheet and everyone is reset to 0 on that sheet, at that point the scores are in chanchey's hands and he will update his list at www.ryzom-bosses.com

please note that if you set to be viewed by guild only or guild and friends only that you are much less likely to be invited to a team (we can't see you online, so we don't know to invite you)

here is a link to a good outline on doing this NPC, i will note a few things i do differently in my teams.

I like the post Talk. I would like to add that anytime I am in team and it is full I will gladly give up my spot to allow others to join in. I haven't even come close to completing my own set yet but I am more than happy to give anyone a fair turn because this is about having fun and not being greedy.

Well-done, Talk, very classy :)

Pei is much more fun than the Kincher Rite *nod*

Thank you for this clear post, for details and, finally, a true public information. Thanks to you, now people can join battles althought they don't have friend in team.

If you want, I can translate in french. But there are a vindictive little group in french who hate HRP act, so I'm little affraid about reaction. I wait our response !

Beware of the French!
They bite.

By the way HRP (Hors Role-Play) = OOC (Out Of Character)

yes, feel free to translate this into french please, i believe i know those players you speak of, and they are also welcome when our team permits them to stay true to their role play (this is not always the case, but when possible they will be welcome to join the team, (as at least one member has already been a member of the team when it complies with their personal play style)

when you translate the main post please include this information:

"we will always consider a player that has firm role play rules whenever the team is befitting their play style."

thank you very much laofa for your kind offer to translate this into french for me.

If I am online I am usually around people who are doing NPC hunts so feel free to send me a tell as well and I will try to help. We do have a few players around who can speak just about any language including japanese :D

Thank you Talkirc for your post and also many thanks to Laofa for her comment in the french forum! I witnessed some discussions about the bosshunts and it was a pleasure to read your comment over there for the french community. :)

Personally I'm not organising the light boss hunts, I just offer the "infrastructure" and offer an opportunity to share the loot conflict-free and with a maximum of transparency. Personally I think rolling the dice after a successful hunt can be very frustrating, because one gets all and all other get nothing. And if you get a part you might have it already.

Pei and Dante points can be traded in every time. You don't have to wait until you have 5 full points. If you have 1 point, you just can /tell me and I'll get the part you wish out from the stock (if it is in stock).
It is NOT possible to change Dante into Pei points or vice versa: this would mean I would have to morph Dante into Pei parts, which is of course impossible. The sum of all Pei points must be equal the sum of all parts in stock.

But you can trade points with other homins. If they agree, you can give them your Dante points and receive their Pei points instead. Or you just can give away points - I already bought successfully some Zun amps in exchange for armor points :D
Also a guild can ask to sum up all points of their members. I need the agreement of the guild leader for this.

ok, translation here : http://app.ryzom.com/app_forum/index.php?page=topic/view/18891/1
I joined a "little" reflexion in french (sorry, i'm so talkative and my french is little hard for google translate). For resum, I invite people to see that with tolerance and fun. I'm "hard" rolist, I think I'll never join a group in this system (for my level, my alignement, etc ;) ) but I like when players create opportunity to play together. Peace between players, war between toons, yeah ! ;)

thank you chanchey and laofa for you comments and your help, it's wonderful to know that players can be friends while toons can have different views, i very much agree with that ideal.

as for talkative, i'm the very same way.

bones, i will add your name to the main post as a contact now, thank you for your willingness to help with the teams.

made a few edit's to the first post, added link to chanchey's website for scores, added a link to french translation in french forums.

and shamelessly bumped this thread again to let everyone know there have been edit's made to #1 post. (since an edit will not bump the thread, players will never know an edit was made otherwise.)
