Other games - they give you a cookie whether you succeed or not, in fact you don't even have to participate. Ryzom takes your cookie, eats it in front of you, and slaps you 2 or 3 times for bringing a cookie in the first place.

Funny, today i learned that Zhoi and Daomei got a recent promotion

I also learned that Syphilin ( a purely OOC name, a member of the event team) is actually an IC (and IG) toon ...

As for Daomei: the ones speaking the dialect of Hoi-Cho have for a long time now called her "Ranger" IC purely inofficially, since she grew up with Rangers and has always been speaking up for the Rangers. Her "official" title would be Ranger Companion, true. So it was sloppy IC, which happens often in Ryzom, no?

Hm, Zhoi was told that this homin she should send the letter to is called Syphilin during an Assembly. It was an IC-letter too. As the letter was intended to be sent to the dynastic circle, I considered it as fun to make this name sound a little more Zorai, as Zhoi would of course think of Syphilin as a Zorai, if he or she was obviously working for the dynastic circle.

It's disappoiting that you must be that unhumorous; I remember Icus making "jokes" about skinning and having a barbecue of some Matis, and I believe of Salazar too - which Salazar commented to "Weird. The skin is the best part..."

All right, Icus will call Feylin a Kami, since she grew up with ranger and her official title is "Kami Follower"(or Follower of the Kami, not sure of the english translation).

Ah, I know many Ryzom-players who call Kami-followers simply "Kami". It was quite common on Leanon; especially amongst non-roleplayers, but also even during RP - and I still think this is rather confusing... I remember talking to Lylanea about the Kamis, and she asked me if I meant Kami-disciples instead! So even though I had always watched my words to not confuse others, I was still misunderstood :D

Good to know that your post was meant purely OOC. Wasn't so sure about that.

I do pretty much everything on purpose. Hope this will broaden your understanding :)
