This just started last few days and i have no problem outside the game with this occuring, but every time i type something it will transfer parts of my sentences forward in the sentence making it a jumble.
It does this constantly and has become a real agravation.
It appears to be only affecting the chat boxes in game since it's not doing it in this forum box.
Please help.

This sounds purely aggravating. Did it suddenly crop up?

The support team will need to know what Operating System (Win, Mac, Linux(flavor)) you are running.

I have not noticed this in my client (Win 7 on a desktop) but it sounds familiar to me from my attempts to type on my laptop. I finally solved it -- mostly -- by reducing the sensitivity of the touchpad (on which I was resting the heel of my hand while typing). I don't know if this is the case or not, probably not because you say you don't see it outside of game, but the CSRs will definitely need to know what client you are running and on what sort of machine.

Good luck!

OK its fixed now. For some reason my copy of ryzom was not updating the patches so after reinstalling the entire game it's working fine now.
Don't know why the game wasn't updating the patches but i'll watch to make sure it does now.
I am running win 7 on a laptop for reference.

Make sure you give it Administrative rights.

i had a hunch that the timing for this problem was around the same time the PVP fix patch was given and Zondur's client probably patched incorrectly, ive had lots of problems with fake or incorrect patches with ryzom, sometimes ryzom patches a tiny patch that completely bugs my client

anyway i suggested that he reinstall clean and see if it patches correctly and it seems to have worked (in tell now with Z)

my advice is when you install ryzom the first time and it patches CORRECTLY and it's working FINE make a copy of your ENTIRE ryzom folder and keep it stashed away, in case you run into a problem you can use the backup copy

of course save a copy of your save folder for your flags and whatnot, often. really easy way is to send to zip file option.

kudos to Tiximei for suggesting the make-a-backup-copy to me in ceb when i had a patch problem, pass it on :)
