well, all are welcome in cookies, it's very rare that someone doesn't find a way to "fit in" with the group. within the cookies group you will find kami, karavan, marauders, rangers, true neutrals, and other less known faction / groups / orginazitions.

cookies is a good place to ask questions and get honest serious answers. cookies has voice chat for those that are willing to join in, or even just listen to the cookies that do talk. ( we use teamspeak3, if you want to join us in voice chat and don't already have the software, simply click the link below and it will take you to the page where you download the teamspeak3 client software.)

you do not need to install the "overwolf" option durring the teamspeak install, as ryzom doesn't support it.  once you install it ask in cookies chat for the server information.

There is alot more in the pipline, next event ideas might include: yubo ball,kittin rugby, marathon of the lakes, pyr bar comedy night, pvp with q50 gen gear, if we can get a q50 op maybe fun themed op wars, long distance jumping, swimming competitions, dress up competitions, boksing, sharp shooting, atyslympics, weightlifting, and so on ...

The purpose of this post is to serve as a guild-forum for the multi-factional-multi-national-multi-lingual guild currently running under the name of.... well.. Cookies.
The name was picked by mostly females as you may guess but it's also a play on words from this now-famous quote:

We are a group of homins who belong to different guilds thus under normal circumstances it would be messy to guild together. However we would like to work together to make the best out of Atys, with all its difficulties and challengies and frustrations and trials, it's a beautiful rootball and we need to retain the fun factor and helpfulness that seems to be disappearing these days. 

This said, we have done a work-around. A guild really is four elements, the awesome players, the guild channel, the guild forum,and the guild hall.

Guild members:    friendly and helpful, honest and mature
Guild chat:            we use a chat channel to communicate, ask one of the listed contacts for info
Guild hall:             multiple well organised specialised guild halls tailored to your interests
Guild forum:          well.... here it is

If any cookies need gear or advice, want to discuss some atys phenomenon, talk about assmeblies or politics etc, or just post pictures etc all are going to be posted here as replies.

We also use Team Speak (pretty much 24/7 someone is online there) hosted by our Tech Cookie Luciel and admistrated by Talkirc and Rosina (ask for more info to one of the contacts below) You are more than welcome to just listen-in and not speak if you wish, transfer of useful knowledge is much faster and we've had karaoke night and other great laughs as a group :)

Part of the whole point here is that we have nothing super secret to hide and anyone reading is likely to learn a thing or two which, to me, is valuable.

Being part of this Guild is not about being powerful, it is playing smart, learning, and helping others.

Yup. Eruv took over cookies armory as it was more of a storage guild than an actual one, but I will never change my title :)

As for cookies, think of it not as a guild, but as a legion of experts from many guilds. We have been around for years and are not going anywhere.

This is a melting pot that should have never worked, but it has. Sometimes we do in-game taboo things, like cross races, factions, etc., but it is very effective. Kami, Kara, Ranger, and yes even Marauders are all members. We consider ourselves unofficial Atys ambassadors.

You like RP? Grinding? Boss hunts? Digging? Crafting? Stable Slacking? Need a black market item? More? We got it all.

Come join the group! You'll get out of it what you put into it. If you join us and ask us to craft items every other day without contributing, consider it a short stay like you would in any guild. If you want to grind some skillz up and hop in some boss hunts, consider that as contributing. We don't need dappers or items, just come help keep guard or be comic relief on a trek :D No worries in cookies group.

If you don't like it, chalk it up as a learning experience. If you don't fit in, we'll do the same.

What we have is true freedom throughout Atys. Screw these weak alliances. We are the alliance :D Our results are #1

As Talk' brings up the post, I would like to share my story regarding the Cookies...

I am one of the players who started their journey on Aniro. Therefore, the way I was playing Ryzom before the merge was very different. As some might remember, right after the new server was created, there was a big clash between the gameplays of the different communities. I was one of the players who liked ultra strict RP and PvP.

When I came back, I slowly started meeting some Aristople and Leanon players. One day, I met this guy called Talkirc that thought I would fit in this group called "Cookies". I told myself why not? After all, I'm here to have fun and there are probably some people in there who have the same interests as me. So that's how I became, proudly, one of the first francophone-based cookies!

Since that day, I’ve reached some of my masters with cookies, I've done some bosses, I've PvP'ed, laughed... I had such a great time that I’ve never left it, even if it wasn't completely matching my way of playing the game at the beginning. It has become a family to me. We always help each other and I also met some wonderful people in there with who I spend a lot of my playtime now.

So, why am I telling you all this?

I want to emphasize what Talk’ was mentioning in his post right above mine. Cookies are really for almost everyone, whether you like PvP, digging, RP, exploring... you would most probably find your spot among us, even if your first language, like me, isn’t English.

Don't wait. You're missing something. Join us.
