Alright, this thread is to give credit to other people for having fun times ingame, keeping their cool in frustrating situations, or whatever else.
No criticizing others or complaining.

Here's the rules:
- Only post to credit someone else, to agree with someone's kudos, or to thank someone for theirs.
- Do not post disagreeing with someone else's kudos. If you disagree, keep it to yourself.
- No praising yourself. That's just tacky.
- No sarcastic or snarky false-kudos. That's just a poorly disguised attack, and this isn't the place for it.

Please keep it civil and abide the rules of the thread.

I'll start,...

Kudos to the Event-Manager who did the latest DE-Event for Tryker, as I heard being on several clients at once to make this event possible all on his own.

Fantastic job, very enjoyable time, though I've just been there for the ending part of it.

*posting to agree with this Kudos*
It was one of the funniest events we ever had too! Extremely creative and with such hilarious weirdness :D
Didn't know it was that hard work... well, just another reason to appreciate events like these all the more :)

Now, that makes me wonder if she/he not only played the drunken (handling all communication and trade exchanges alone), but also if that one single person manually did all the trade exchanges for the palm trees and the fake Shalahs! I am sitting here in amazement.

As I already said it on the german uni, I can only chime in here: It was a very distinct event, totally different from what we had in the past. Unique in that I believe it was fun for anyone at any level. Really focused on role-play and story telling while still using the game mechanics.

Now we've got to stop teasing the other players with this event and move on to praise others ;-)

Good idea for a thread, too, Neira!

Umm... Could we please have a "report on the event" published in the Roleplay forums? If it has been written up in the DE forums, could the EN and FR forums be at least pointed in that direction. Google is not great, but any report is better than no report.

Thanks.

I'll write a full-lenght-report in German (with screenshots and quotes like some funny drunken babbling) later on as always. Here's an overview in English: http://app.ryzom.com/app_forum/index.php?page=topic/view/17350/2

While we're talking about Kudos - I think the easter-events were also fabulous :) As I heard the German Event-Team (namely Limai) had written some or even all of these events. So Kudos (Chapeau!) to them once again! ;)

The one part with the old Zorai who wanted to save his family with the help of a certain Kami of the Witherings in cocoons (looking a lot like oversized Kitin-eggs) was especially interesting I thought. One of the three groups helping with opening the kitin-eggs went to the ruined hut of the old Zorai that had been covered by the spreading goo. There we had to build up a line of healers to get to this hut that was pretty far inside the goo-area which was really fun :) Also the old man was weird and amusing in himself with his confused memory and losing his way (one time running around a plateau repeatedly, wondering about the long stretch of road...).

Next up I also want to applaud and thank all the roleplayers in Ryzom who are breathing life into the world Atys by playing their unique characters so lively and together are making our gaming experience something special, memorable and worthwile. :)

Kudos to the players who spend their time writing reports about events, assemblies and other roleplay-content. I'm so lazy with that, but it's really great that someone summarizes all that so anyone who could not be there on his own at least knows what happened.

To name only two: Zhoi's reports are so detailed that I sometimes believe I learn more from reading the summary than attending the event itself. :-) And Suibom's report of, no, better: story about the Upper-Bog-Goo-Igara-event was really fun to read.
