(A brief letter is personally delivered to the akenos and only them, while the ink on it hasn't dried)

I was present in Natae today at the Nobles Assembly. Ozwomen, Matis ambassador flat-out proposed to forbid the Tryker water caravan to pass through Matis lands, on account of it "being helpful to Fyros". This was not resolved one way or another, since other assemblies had no problem with the idea. I could not assist to the end of the negociations, due to obvious reasons. Taliar Luth and Taliar Meagon were present to discuss their side.

In light of the currently strained relationships at the eastern border, I suggest we offer help to the Trykers to move the caravan through Lands of Umbra instead, if willing patriots and homins are to be found. Effectively, this would strain the relationship between the Tryker and Matis, leaving our forest friends alone, and fostering the relationship between lakes and desert. Diplomatically, this can be played off both as a sign of aggresssion from us (encouraging the Trykers to avoid their friends in religion), but also as a sign of goodwill (not wishing to disturb the forest with our business); depends solely on how it's interpreted by the other nations.

The matter is up to you for consideration; I don't request an answer unless you need an arm to help the caravan as proposed.

Good afternoon Matis citizen's

At the Natae Noble Assembly. I did refuse to let Tryker water caravan pass through Matis lands, because we had some unexpected information given to us at the Natae Nobles Assembly.

Salazar says: As you certainly have learned by now, the Akenak tried to install a law which would have put all Fyros outpost more or less under protection of the empire. The Sharukos Lykos, very wisely, pointed out that this would break the Treaty of the Four People. He also suggested to the Akenak to ask people from outside the desert for their opinion. Therefore I raised my hand, and Akenos Lcus call me to speak up. I therefore agreed with what the Sharukos said, and for that got back Icus opinion that the Matis are irrelevant and stupid, and that their nature. Apart from the fact this was a rather surprising and incoherent statement, it obvously was an insult not only to me and the Assembly of Nobles, but to us Matis all. It is my opinion that we can not take this quietly.

Regards Ozwomen
