IDEAS FOR RYZOM

(sorry for my poor english)

Lordoy!I wanted to know what become the trytonism. As a reminder, trytonism is present in the game since its inception (even before the idea of the Marauders). Faction appeared in the game during the events leading up to the War of the Temples. We lived Revelation (with mysterious rendezvous followed by mass teleport to reach inaccessible places), and the War of the Temples (with orders to infiltrate the camps kara / kami), but also the attempted extermination of the Guild Elias by Karavan / Kami.

These three events were official events. After these, nothing more about trytonism. Or worse, it was systematically reminded to trytonist players the need to hide and infiltrate. Basically, prosaically, do not move, do not play your roleplay. As a reminder, Trytonists are hominists aimed at the release of the two powers Homins considered like manipulative. As a reminder, it is thanks to Elias Tryton many refugees were saved during the first Great Swarm. There is a NPC guild: the guild Elias. So ok ... we can't have a real gameplay. Except that I offer some tips for players who want to play the trytonism :
- Make secret meetings with members of the Guild of Elias, even let players manage their own guild of Elias at the end.
- Give trytonist players the ability to teleport in some places to protect people or flee (as the tp function we had before the merger). Oh, just 2-3, nothing more. Kind a secret location by continent.

That would be all. Is it too much to ask? I think some will say yes but ... who knows who is trytonist on the server ? There are rumors ... It is frankly damage I think.
Please, you have created the Marauders and Rangers, let Trytonists exist! Even without creating a gameplay particular tag, drill and more! This is not the trytonism's trip anyway. The trytonism is a liberation movement against dogma, it is like a secret movement as many divisions as members but united by the same ideal. In the game, we saw that trytonists have the cult of secrecy and a high technology, where the idea of having markers for tp trytonistes to flee or gather in safe places

Lordoy MacFay Luth.

Your words speak to recognition of a homin who is fabled in the history of Atys, one whom both the Kami and the Karavan acknowledge as a "threat" even though it was he who is credited with opening the Rainbow Gates to the Deep Roots in the last days of the Great Swarming long ago.

I would bring to the attention of all homins that Elias Tryton is no relic of the past but a force in modern Atys. He appeared during the crisis of the Second Great Swarming to activate new Rainbow Gates that brought us all to the Sanctuary where we dwelt for almost eight Jena Years. I did not see this with my own eyes, but more than one homin, known to me to be of good repute, has told me this. I did live where the gates took us, maintained as they were by the Trytonists, a new guild that homins had not seen before.

I would never suggest that homins should follow such a person, one who is hounded by both Karavan and Kami. To do so would subject them to trials and tribulations that should not be the part of any homin's life.

I do wonder, however ... might there not be some way to research the mysterious rainbow gates to find out their secrets? The Kami and the Karavan both hold their secrets close. Any who might have ideas on how to research this, please contact me by the usual means. (*)

I would like to help out deepening our collected knowledge about Elias Tryton, if I may, as I have studied some documents from the Great library in Zora concerning this matter. However first of all I advise you to have patience as things are already in motion, although slowly. Gods cannot be rushed, and as a Zorai I can only encourage you to show your faith in them by praying and believing.

There have been words from the gods told to us by rumors, that groups (organizations/factions) like Marauders, Rangers and also Trytonists would at some point in time try to recruit homins from the New Lands. This has already hapenned with the Marauders. The Rangers are not recruiting as of yet even though your words, Luth, make one believe so; but it was said that they will in the future, as will the guild of Elias:
Patchlog June 2012
An Organization is not a Civilization or a Cult, but a group of homins with the same goal. Some examples of Organizations are: Marauders, Trytonists, Rangers. Players can only be part of one Organization at a time. Players can join an Organization by passing a rite (at the moment, only the Marauders but others can be added later).
Tamarea at the time of the server-merge
We will continue to develop other third factions (Rangers, Trytonist) as well.
This rumor spread again only a short while ago
Tamarea Jan 2013
The new Encyclopedia will in time offer more content and missions for players of any level, in any field (geography, history, foraging...). Moreover, it will fit into roleplay needs: Aside from rites open to all, there will be specific rites for Citizens, Patriots, Vassals or Initiates, but also for factions (Kamist, Karavanist, Marauder, Ranger, Trytonist...).

I can confirm that the guild of Elias and Tryton's rainbows have indeed been reported to have helped many a homin escape from the Old Lands during the First Great Swarming. The guild of Elias was spotted in the New Lands in the year 2495 and was shortly after forbidden by the Karavan. Some explanations and informations about the guild of Elias told by a member of this guild, Hiaoi, can be found in the library at http://atys.ryzom.com/projects/puben/wiki/C_Hiaoi

It is also true that the guild of Elias again helped homins to escape from the Kami Oasis to the Exodus Isle/s during the Second Great Swarming. I have seen and used these rainbow-devices in the Kami Oasis myself, together with many homins, amongst them the beloved leaders of the four civilizations. Our respected Kami as well as the Karavan have helped us all reach the Oasis and such have worked together with this Elias Tryton unwillingly whom they have warned us all of before this event... We know of a homina named Elyssa and a homin named Kegan who seemingly were bigwigs amongst the Trytonists as they spoke to the homins during the Assembly of the great leaders in the Almati Woods just before the second Exodus.

Trytonists have appeared long ago during the Great Temple Wars as well, indeed. They even were the first to warn homins about the conflict to come in the year of Jena 2528, as the cronicles of Erlan tell us. Sadly the guild of Elias seemed very weakened at that time, the few members had built up camp in the Roots, and they told the homins to not let any side, Kami nor Karavan, "win" over the other side. They also insisted that homins should stay vary about both of them.

But this is not all! Only a fleeting while ago, at the Assemlby of the Great Zorai Circles in Zora (Feb 11th 2013), three Trytonists have appeared again! They came in disguise (Ocyx écarlate, Lumper lunatique, Gubani astucieux) and spoke to all homins present before our most respected leader Mabreka Cho. This is what they said:

Ocyx écarlate: "I'm sorry to interrupt you great sage. But my fellow and I want to introduce ourself fast. Our time is limited, as we have many powerful enemies on Atys. We are trytonnists. If you don't know us, we are the homins who allowed the hominity to flee during the second exodus. Although it could be deadly for everybody, including us, we are back on the Bark and we will keep fighting. The sign of Elias will come soon, and with him we will be able to complete our goal : to free the hominity from the slavery of the Highers Powers."

Next time, honored Luth, you may want to be present at such large events to be able to experience such important occurances in person. As I knew you were interested in the Trytonists I tried to call out for you during the event to tell you about the three masked homins from the Guild of Elias, but alas, my words could not reach you, as you were too far away (afk).

I hope my words have been of help
Mata Atys, miko-ito!
