Tryker Tailari Assembly of Crystabell
22h - Holeth, Frutor 30, 4e AC 2524
Tuesday January 15, 2013 at 20:00 GMT

The meeting started off slowly as Shaley Nara gathered the Cryai to Crystabell. The Cryai, Spiritus Artificis (Meagon, Hechicera, Dinorath, Sliar, Ciliana, Alustrielll, Ariella, Mainca, Djedi, Tendrili, Alassea), was present at the meeting, and the stateless guilds of Atys Ghosts (Irsla), and The Undecided(Squid) were attending. At one point a Fyros based citizen stopped by to observe the proceedings but left shortly after (Rahael).

The Kard’al quickly began the meeting by explaining the usual process as few Nair present knew the procedures. For this meeting only all present would be able to vote on the topics brought up as there were no current tailari.

The first order of business was electing a leader for our assembly. After Shaley Nara reported the requirements of the position to the assembly there was some discontent in the strictness of the law. In favor of newer times in which the nations have become more diverse it was proposed to change the law to the following requirements: 1) Being a member of a tryker aligned guild 2) Possessing 50 tryker fame 3) Promises to pledge full allegiance to the tryker once benefit issues are resolved (rites). This new law was passed by the assembly swiftly and with no opposition.

Next was the election of the First Taliar. Three homins volunteered for the position; Sliar, Meagon, and Ciliana. After some concise speeches a verdict was reached electing me, Meagon, with 6 votes, and Ciliana received 4 while Sliar received 3.

Shaley Nara congratulated the new Taliar and proceeded to the next task. We needed to vote on a proposal for voting in future assemblies. Shaley proposed giving the vote to any who are based in the lakes, but many urged for a more restricted vote. Therefore, a vote was taken on giving the power of vote in the tailari assemblies of crystabell to members of a tryker aligned guild. This vote passed unanimously.

A final task was presented to us for the meeting. It was necessary that we elect homins to the positions of Translator (2), Ambassador (2), and Representative to the Fairhaven Congregations (3). After an explanation of each role, it was put forward that we may wait until the next meeting to elect these officers. This would allow for more to hear about it and to think about volunteering.

After two days and two hours of grueling discussion the meeting came to end. Luckily a shipment of stinga rum came from Fairhaven on the last night as the supply in Crystabell ran empty shortly before. I hope that any homin that has questions or is interested in these positions will contact me in the coming weeks.

Congratulations:

Not that I am volunteering or anything (since I don't belong to a Tryker Guild (cryai?) and am neutral even though i do have 50 Tryker fame), but what ARE the requirements for Translator, Ambassador (2? not 3?) and Representative?

Am I clear that _each_ member of a Tryker aligned guild has a vote in the Crystabel Assembly?

In hopes of clarification.

Bittty

((I may be part of a neutral guild, but I still support the idea of New Trykoth.))

Bitttymacod:

Thank you for the Congratulations. I am looking forward to being involved in the building of New Trykoth and hope that I can aid the wishes of my fellow tryker citizens and all homins of atys.

I'm glad you have come to me with questions. The requirments for the positions of translator, ambassador, and represetative are to be a tryker based homin (and of the english speaking community). We left the requirments fairly open for those positions encouraging further participation.

To clarify, the abmassadors will work more or less as a pair. They travel to other nations on atys when needed and represent Trykoth in foreign affairs when called upon or when deemed fit.

You are correct that every member that wishes to can vote in a Tryker aligned guild if they attend the assembly.

I hope I have answered all your questions.

Tryker Assembly of Crystabell
Quinteth, Pluvia 29, 4e AC 2524
Saturday February 2nd, 2013

In our second meeting we got rolling quickly by starting with electing the officials we had discussed in the previous meeting. Starting off with Ambassador elections Tendrili and Alassea ran uncontested and were granted the positions. Translator was a bit of an issue as few nara present were learned in our counterparts' languages. We managed to scrounge up one translator for the Windermeer tryker, Sliar. Finally we voted on 3 representatives to the Fairhaven assembly. Out of the four candidates Meagon, Bucshotz, and Tendrili were elected.

There were two other topics to discuss this meeting. The inhabitants of the town had expressed the desire to have the stables more ideally located as currently you have to run through the entire city to reach them. We took a fieldtrip and scoped out a few prime locations and Shaley was going to look into the matter. The final matter was the desire for a Jackpot wheel in the city which will also be looked into.

Fairhaven Assembly of Taliar
Holeth, Frutor 30, 4e AC 2524
Wednesday Febraury 20th, 2013

A few days ago the cryai of New Trykoth met in Fairhaven along with members of foreign nations who wished to observe. Slowly the balcony at Frogmore place filled in with a mass of homins.

As the meeting got going a trytonist appeared hinting on some plans and their past efforts. The messenger was very cryptic and stayed for a short time until he was asked to leave.

Each cryai was then asked to have its guild leader or taliar introduce themselves. The cryai of Avendale started out with Luth, Kaaon, and Jazzy introducing their guilds. Hechicera introduced the only cryai of Crystabell, and Chanchey did the same for Windermeer.

The cryai was asked to present some grievances that had been circulating about the Constitution. The Cryai believed that the government was a monarchy in its current state and wished to present a constitution that, they believed, would make the country democratic and federalist. Unfortunately, the Governor and Kardals did not see it as such. They stressed the need for a stable government and told the cryai that they did not seek this ruling power. Heated debate ensued for quite some time until it calmed down ((I kind of had an appointment during this part so I was afk and can't really remember what happened fully. Seems my chatlog didn't turn on)).

Finally the assembly was able to move on to other matters. The water road and the tryker academy were to be presented and voted upon by the taliar. The water road is a caravan to the desert to supply the fyros with water. This has been common in the past as the desert is known to go through water shortages. Two routes are available, the Kingdom of the Forest or the Prime Roots. The Taliar voted in agreement to the road and it was decided that a group would open the discussion with the fyros at their assembly in the next few days, and the matis would also be contacted.

The Tryker Academy was introduced by Kaaon. The academy is already in existence. This introduction was just a desire to implement the academy at a national level and to get the other cryai of the lakes involved as currently most the members are from Avendale. After a brief introduction explaining the three branches a vote was taken again. The Tryker Academy became a national asset.

The last piece of the meeting was a comment to look into the Falalochi (residents of the lakes) gaining a say in the national government. Avendale currently allows these homins a say in their government and wishes to extend this. The topic was left to be discussed at local assemblies and would be brought up again at the next national assembly.

With many needing food and rest, the first national assembly closed.

Holeth, Pluvia 30, 4e AC 2524
Wednesday March 6th, 2013

Today the Matis Assemblies met. Luth was asked to come talk to the Avalae Assembly about the water road as their ambassador. He was also asked to come visit the Natae Assembly to discuss it afterward. I came to the Natae Assembly, curious about what the Matis would have to say.

To my surprise, some of the Matis were in doubt of allowing the water road to come through the forest. Luth told me that, after some debating, the Avalae Assembly had agreed to let us cross, but Natae was not so relenting. A representative from Davae also came and Luth traveled to their assebmbly while I delt with the ill feelings in Natae. Davae also showed some signs of doubt he reported. A few representatives insist upon a national meeting and connect the fyros akenak, Icus, to our water road.

I fear for Matis-Tryker relations in this matter. If the Matis refuse us use of their lands then our relations will be soured. There is already discontent in the fact that the Matis doubt our loyalty and respect to them. No matter what we will be taking on this trade with the Fyros, and the Matis initiative to degrade relations baffles me. This is a precarious situation for our countries. All I can do is wait and see what the Matis decide. They have a short time to come to a decision, and I pray to Jena they make the right one.

*Letter of the First Taliar of Avendale to Meagon, First Taliar of Crystabell and to Chanchey, First Taliar of Windermeer*

Nair-Meagon and Nair-Chanchey,

I fear that some Matis used us in their Court games. I was only invited at the origin by the Nobles of Avalae and not from these of Natae or Davae. Natae's Nobles asked me to come very lately... And when the ambassador of Davae to Natae saw me in Natae, he was surprised.

I think there is a clue of some Matis' psyche i didn't understand before tonight.

I pray to the next Assembly of Yrkanis will permit us to cross the Forest. But in the contrary, we are Trykers, free and bold ! We fear nothing !

But i trust my matis friends to argue in our favor in Yrkanis ! It will be nonsense they reject us because a Fyros insulted them... I suspect some Matis to play on two boards...

Be careful, there are some strange shadows under the trees of Matia !

Luth macFay, First Taliar of Avendale.

PS : don't forget our fight for a more democratic Constitution !"

Re Matis Assembly in Natae:

Chiaro Linia informed us at the meeting about the water caravan, as it was understood Tryker were going to contact us, we had not had any word from them. I then invited Taliar Luth to give us information on the water-caravan.

The Trykers are asking us to let the water-caravan go through the forest.

I don't think they were ever going to ask the Natae's Nobles. They have just asked us now and wanted us to say yes at the meeting. They have planed this for the 16 March.

They have not offered anything to the Matis Citizen's.

The tryker's will receive: 1000 tools from the occupation, 3000 Shooki's buds, 3000 barks (qual 100+ in fine), 3000 ambers (qualit 100 + in fine) and 5 millions of dappers.

Is this fair for the Matis citizen's ?

Fear not this is no court games just fact's

The Trykers should of showen more respect and contacted the Matis Nobles, before the meeting.

Regards Ozwomen
